Riesen Chocolate Covered Chewy Caramel Candy, 5.5 Oz (Pack of 12)

Yum, yum. Delivered without melting. Recently found them at Cracker Barrel but about the same price.

Yummy! Best caramel on the market. High grade chocolate covering. Soft texture with melt in you mouth chocolate.

In perfect condition. Fresh & delicious!

Look I LOVE Riesen chocolate normally, it's high quality stuff. I wanted it in bulk so I ordered this one. Huge mistake. This bag is clearly years old. Every chocolate inside is collapsed, turned white, and tastes ancient and gross. I'm not talking a little bit of losing that nice tempering, these chocolates have sat around so long and gone through so many thermal cycles they've transformed into nearly inedible bricks. Is it worth the roll of the dice to you that you'll get a a bag of relatively expensive chocolate that's sat for years upon years of terrible storage?

This candy is so good it is addictive. I can't just eat 1-2 it has to be 4 every time I endulage.

I received them quickly. The box was in great shape. However, both bags had been exposed to a temperature extreme, probably cold. The dark chocolate coating was a light color. My online research says temperature extremes cause chocolate to turn white. It tasted okay but not as good as those not affected this way.

These are a great, small sweet treat. I like them before bed. Much better than plain caramels.
