Measure your door to make sure you order the right size. It comes supplied with fittings for all different door materials. I just used the velcro. Make sure you give the frame a clean before sticking it on. Really easy to fit only took about 10 mins installing this way. Most of that time was wiping the frame over. The screen itself does exactly what it states, and the magnets that hold it together make it easy to get in and out without any hassle. Would recommend & defo going to look at some window screens as well. Price wise, it was definitely worth the money & it apparently comes with a lifetime warranty, so that's a bonus.

4 stars given as it remains to be seen how it behaves in a strong breeze. Installation was easy, single person operation. Fixed on a UPVC door using the Velcro only. No hemming required as it was exactly the size required. Magnetic strength seems ideal - not too strong to make opening difficult.

Its brilliant! Super easy to install does exactly as described, no flys and can leave the door open on hot summer nights too and not worry about what might come in!

Works lot better than i thought would. Leave the door open, fresh air no flies

This item is very good at excluding flies. It is however, also very good at excluding broad-shouldered humans, and it's very, very good at excluding humans carrying a tray or anything pointy (a black and decker workmate springs to mind). The instructions suggest a stapler to help tailor the mesh screen to different width and height UPVC door openings. That is an absolute joke, a stapler is totally unsuitable. I ended up using a hot glue gun, and achieved a perfect fit of an excellent fly screen, but I was using the full width, straight from the package, I wouldn't like to try passing through this screen if the width had been tailored. It's a shame really because the magnetic closure system is very impressive. The screen is attached to the door frame with a not-very-adhesive self-adhesive strip. The frame needs to be completely spotless to achieve anything like useful adhesion. This does however facilitate the removal and storage of the entire screen outside of fly season. The screen rolls up for easy storage. Would I buy this item again? Time will tell how valuable the claimed lifetime guarantee is, and how well the screen holds up to normal passage of black and decker workmates etc., but it does provide a very effective fly screen. .

Very useful, does what it says

I often forget to write reviews for great items but needed to add this information. My I built my patio screened in area a few years ago, and over time, my Screen Tight brand vinyl doors (one 36-in W x 80-in and one 32-in W x 80-in) warped over time, leaving open areas for insects to enter. Installation was quick and straightforward. The 38" × 82" magnetic screen fit my 36" × 80" door perfectly. I attached the included Velcro to the door frame, then reinforced it with construction staples for a more secure, long-lasting installation. The top overlapped slightly, so I used the included tacks to give it a cleaner, more finished appearance. For my 32" × 80" doorway, I used the same installation method on the top and left side. Since the screen was wider than the opening, I neatly rolled the excess material on the right side and secured it with construction staples. It turned out surprisingly clean and looks great. The durability has been impressive. My 40-pound-ish Standard Poodle puppy sprinted from the yard, burst through one screen, ran across the patio, and exited through the second screen without damaging either one. Both screens held up perfectly and immediately closed and sealed behind him. The mesh is excellent quality—noticeably thicker and more durable than the screening on my patio enclosure. The magnets align well and create a strong, reliable seal every time. My only suggestion is to reinforce the included adhesive Velcro with construction staples or another permanent or semi-permanent fastening method. I don't think the adhesive alone will hold up over time, especially in hot or humid climates. For less than $18 each, these screens are an outstanding value. I would definitely buy them again.

I’m surrounded by trees. Add a heat wave. These screens are a life saver. Fresh air without flies ! Magnetic closures very effective and screens easy to install. Highly recommended. I have three !
