Mary Rose is one of the most widely grown and best known English roses and a first class garden shrub. Its growth is bushy and is always amongst the first roses to bloom each spring and with unusual regularity throughout the season. The flowers are an attractive, loose-petalled formation with a strong rose-pink coloring. The fragrance is a delicious old rose in character, with hints of honey and almond blossom.

Be Patient The First Blooms May Not Smell But The Later Ones Do!
I was so excited to get this for mother's day; however, the roses didn't smell when they first bloomed. I was disappointed but held out hope it may have been a fluke. I was right and am now changing my original review to 5 star's because IT DOES SMELL. I just had to wait for the next bloom. The fragance is so amazing wonderful. If your doesn't smell initially give it some time. This rose bush is a keeper!

Absolutely Gorgeous!
