These cake strips area a lifesaver. Gone are the days of having to level out my cakes because of doming during baking. Using these removes the problem of having a dome in the center of your cakes where you have to level your cake before decorating. Also, the edges bake so beautifully without browning and hardening of the edges. The edge of the cake comes out as soft as the center. Came without instructions. I looked up instructions from Wiltilon's website. However, they do woek at keeping the cake flat. I did not have to trim any of the cake off.

These are fantastic! The cake comes out so even - the whole thing is fluffy and the edges are not burned. The cake itself is so even - no big bump in the center. The downside is you won't have a bowl of "cake scraps" from to sample from trying to even out your cake to decorate. The amount of cutting is minimal and my family does miss the scraps BUT the cake is so fluffy and moist all over that it makes it up for that. Great product if you like baking cakes and if you decorate them - even just for home - this is truly a game changer!

I had to get used to these as initially they were difficult to tighten when dampened. It got on my nerves a bit, because it was taking too long for me to adjust them. Nevertheless, the cakes baked perfectly👌🏿No overbaked edges nor underbaked middle. That was not a problem. I eventually got the hang of it, and my cakes turn out perfectly leveled and baked every single time! Game-changer! Yessss!

I bought these just to see what they hype was all about and because it was not expensive. I LOVE how my cakes have turned out with these!!!! The sides of my cakes are PERFECT and I found that if I really soak them, then they work even better than just running them under some water. They are easy to put on and tighten on the cake pans.

These strips really work. I can now make cakes without the raised center that makes it difficult to frost. They are a bit difficult to put on the pan but well worth the effort. I love these strips. I've attached a picture of the results.

Have used these twice, while it does seem to help keep it level for the most part the cracks still happen. Also, does bake more even. They are hard to get tight on the pan because once wet they are hard to pull tight. Size: is good don't have a lot left doubled over on a 9" pan maybe three inches. Value for money: I have only used them twice and they still in good shape. Have not had to wash them yet.
