Fantastic all-round monitor
As a web-designer who also plays PC games, I wanted a monitor that would do everything I wanted to an acceptable standard: A proper jack-of-all-trades. This monitor fits the bill perfectly. It's pretty good at most things, and it's very reasonably priced for what you get. I did a lot of research before my purchase, and realised that there is no "perfect monitor". Not for under £1000 anyway! I wanted something large, flat (designing on a curved monitor is not something I wanted to try), high contrast, and high FPS. Colour accuracy was important, but not a deal-breaker as I don't do terribly colour critical work. Something that looked nice would have been a bonus. I fully expected to have to give up at least ONE of those points to decide on something I could afford. This monitor ticks literally all those boxes for a tremendously reasonable price. Okay, so it has a weird stand. It works for me, but it's not perfect and it may not work for you. If you really want, you can make it work with a VESA mount which alleviates those problems, but I gather that it's not straightforward. I will probably do this at some point. Before this I had another VA monitor, running at 120Hz. It was old but worked well. This monitor is definitely better. The quality of the panel has noticably improved, especially in the motion-handling. It's hardly smeary at all (a common complaint with VA panels) and is MUCH better than my previous Eizo monitor. The contrast ratio is not quite as high, but after seeing a decent VA panel, you won't want to go back to IPS. This has at least twice the contrast ratio and none of the glow of your typical IPS panel — it's great. Colours looked absolutely fine out of the box, look up some professional reviews (of which there are surprisingly few) and you'll see it gets high marks for that. One mark against is that it doesn't get very bright. I generally use it on the lowest brightness anyway, but that may be an issue for you. It's not HDR so it doesn't NEED to get that bright. But what do you expect for ~£250? Proper HDR (Not this DisplayHDR 400 stuff) Is EXPENSIVE and still not widely supported on PCs. Basically, this monitor is a steal. Know its limitations before you buy, but you will be hard pressed to find something so fully featured for anything close to the same price.

Quality product!
Sleek and discreet the Samsung space monitor is a must for all gamers. Super clear screen and 144hz frame refresh ensures super smooth movement with no blurring. Can be stowed flat against a wall or pulled out for closer viewing increasing maximum space for your office or man cave.

Brilliant at what it's designed for but makes some sacrifices
This is overall an awesome monitor. It is easy to set up and the clamp is fairly strong, although I cannot guess at how durable it will be over the years I will be using this. The clamp is the main feature of the display, it is supposed to the 'space saving' part of the monitor and for the most part it works. You can pull of a clean minimal set up with the way that his monitor is designed. The fact that you can adjust the stand so it pulls towards you like a Microsoft Studio monitor is great and especially useful for when I want to play games. That said I am not sure what the durability will be like if you are constantly adjusting the stand like I do over time but I have been using it for almost a month and I haven't noticed any play or wear in the mechanism. In terms of the actual panel design, the bezels are minimal although there is a bit of a textured chin at the bottom, the overall design is modern. This monitor uses a VA panel which is kind of a middle ground between IPS and TN. VA panels generally don't provide as good colour accuracy as IPS panels but they are still a massive step up from TN and are able to deliver higher refresh rates than IPS. I have yet to do a proper test on colour accuracy on this particular panel but visually it provides a good experience, the only downside is that it has moderate brightness but its not significant enough to affect gaming or general productivity. However professional photographers may want to give this one a pass. The only outputs that this monitor has is mini-display port and a single HDMI, there is no audio output. The lack of audio output is really annoying as it really doesn't take up much space on the back and would of been easy for Samsung to add but unfortunately you will have to use the audio outputs on the connected devices instead. I have a PC and PS4 connected to mine. The PC is not a problem as I have speakers connected directly to them but I am stuck with using headphones on the PS4. I have been considering purchasing a audio optical to 3.5mm audio analogue converter so I can hook it up to my PC speakers as a second output but the fact I have to work around this flaw is disappointing. The monitor overall performs great in gaming scenarios both for the PS4 and the PC. It is great for general productivity due to its size. The main reason and the only reason you should consider buying this monitor is for it's design. It really does open up more surface area on desks and just looks awesome.

Amazing monitor- great price point!
Received the Samsung monitor and upon opening was very impressed with the size and sleek look of the screen. At first the stand is a little fiddly to fix to the screen, but when complete is as sturdy as you can get. Monitor is sharp and my games run fabulously on it. The space saver design is great due to my office set up and has actually made the room quite a bit bigger that it was before as I can now sit further forward under my desk. The power button on the back is very easy to use - this is similar to a joystick to navigate various menus. The 144hz refresh rate is also a great upgrade from any monitor running lower than this. I upgraded from a 60hz screen to this and could see no motion blur what so ever. The recessed cable run down the back of the stand is a very nice touch and helps keep the back of your desk neat and tidy. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade their monitor, or if you have a shallow desk. The support arm is extremely sturdy and I was very impressed, I've moved it around a little since initially installing it and it doesn't seem to budge at all only at the two hinge points for lowering the screen. The one downfall I would mention about this screen is the inability to lower the screen but keep the same distance from the screen. I understand this would be difficult to incorporate but for some peoples set up this screen would be a little too high, or, a little to close to the eyes.

3 dead pixels within three hours use
I really like this, the mount is great, the quality is great... but I have only used this for about three hours and every hour I'm getting another dead pixel. Replacement is going to take a month to arrive from Amazon and I'm apprehensive because if I have this happen on the next one, how many are they going to keep replacing? I actually think one isn't a dead pixel because it dropped down the screen since it first appeared which probably means it's dust which indicates poor manufacturing. If my replacement is up to standard I will update my review accordingly. I really hope it is!

Does what it says on the box - amazing resolution!
Having taken delivery of the Space Saving Monitor on Saturday, we havent really had enough time with the product to put it through its paces with regards to gamin, but my first thoughts are as follows. Product came securely packaged and was simple to put together, all be it a bit fiddly to screw in the stand (You may need two people for this!). I was super impressed with the two in one cable for power and HDMI - this is is such a great idea! The screen resolution is brilliant, crisp colours and a speedy refresh rate. Works well on split screen (for those that are used to using two screens) and does what it says on the tin - saves space on your desk as you can pus the monitor so it sits flat against the wall and bring it forward when in use. So far so good! Once I have had the time to get on it and do some gaming, I will write another testimonial. UPDATE - As our PC was approx 7 years old, it could not cope with the maximum reoslution. New PC built, max resolution, this screen is something else! Absolutely amazing!

NOT borderless as shown in picture!
So far I have mixed feelings towards this monitor. First let's get the obvious out of the way, the picture does NOT go to the edges of the screen as shown in the photos, which to me is straight up false advertising. There's about a 1cm border around the edges inside the bezel which looks like it should be screen until closer inspection. Picture quality is good as you would expect and noticeably better than 1080p which was immediately apparent with my desktop background, and the 144hz refresh rate is nice and smooth, just make sure you're using a graphics card with HDMI 2.0 so you can use the included cable, otherwise you will need a mini DP cable to make the most of it. Colour accuracy is ok, but the brightness on full is still kind of... dim. Which would make sense as it seems to be around 270-300 lumens which is pretty low by comparison to other monitors. So onto the main selling point then, the stand. Assembly was fairly painless and the instructions were clear, and once latched on it feels stable and does leave you with lots of space where a conventional stand would take up room. It is still big though, can't swivel or pivot, and my biggest frustration, in order to move the monitor down you have to move the whole screen towards you as it's on this giant arm. The whole aim of saving space then feels counter productive when your setup is in a small area like mine. Finally on price, as of writing it's one of the cheapest options on the market if you want 1440p at 144hz. And for that it does feel like a nice solid monitor, good for gaming and media content. However, to me this suggests they're struggling to shift them, and i can understand why. If you have a desk big enough for 2 or more monitors, or are even thinking of having dual monitors in the future, it may be worth spending a little extra and having a conventional stand, especially if you're going to have a side by side comparison with a different monitor.

A terrible screen, avoid it at all cost
Got this monitor for about a week, I regret for the purchase because of reasons listed below, hope they help you to avoid this terrible product: 1. It is not as advertised and Samsung lied. In the ad it says "3-sided bezel-less screen", that's not true. When the screen is lit up, there are very thick black border around all sides. The border area around the actual screens are delibrately made to looks like as part of the screen to trick customer into thinking it's a big screen that it bleeds from 3 sides. 2. The colour is washed out. The white colour it displays is actually a little yellowish, I can't get it to display true white. Terrible panel. 3. No built-in speaker, in order to play games from nintendo switch, you will have to buy another speaker or sound bar which takes up even more space than it saves, which defeats the purpose of buying this "space saver" monitor. 4. They have a displayport, but it is MINI display port, usually the other monitors use the standard size ports. This render my existing mini display port to display port cable useless. 5. It's not bright enough. 6. Blurry texts 7. The default colour profile on mac is horrendously wrong, blue looks like purple. 8. UK order but It ships with EU plug. They also included a very strange adapter that converts 2-blade plug with one blade positioned horizontally and one blade position vertically, into a UK 3 blade plugs. Why is that included is beyond my understanding. This is my first samsung product, and will be the last one.

Design eccezionale e ottima resa visiva

G-Sync, 10bit Color, kaum VA Schmieren, kein Bleeding!
