Great Replacement Camera
We bought this as a replacement as my wife's D80 shutter motor broke. She loves it. The photo quality is amazing. We're using the D80 autofocus lens and it works perfectly. It's a heavier, strong, and durable camera and you can feel the quality that Nikon put into this. Saved us a lot of money without having to buy a brand new model. It looked brand new when we opened the package and the shutter count was as advertised.

Great for Intermediate hobbist
Ive been taking pictures ictures on my phone and my point n click Poloriod snap for awhile now and this was a nice step up.

The "restocking fee" for a defective item is terrible business.
This was a terrible experience for me. I do business with Amazon all the time, but have never had this happen. Ther camera did not work--lens autofocus, which works fine with another body--wouldn't work with this one I purchased. The item was defective, so I returned it. I received a "return refund" quickly, but it was for $579.53. My total purchase cost was charged a "restocking fee" of $59.90. For an item that didn't work? That is outrageous, and I am not happy at all. I expected much more from Amazon.

Superb item - no problems
Reconditioned? I couldn’t tell - moved up from a D60 - OK so it’s old technology but it’s good technology - enjoying the camera and all my old lenses fit so no problems there. Highly recommend this route for an upgrade - the 12 month guarantee a bonus - can’t fault it at the moment 👍

Digitale Nostalgie in Reinform!
Danke an anSato für diese tolle Kamera 😊 Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und die Nikon D7000 sieht total neuwertig aus, technisch und optisch einwandfrei. Ich bin von einer Vollformatkamera (spiegellos) wieder auf eine alte DSLR von Nikon umgestiegen und nun weiß ich, was ich vermisst habe, einen echten Sucher, die stabilere Haptik und den Charme der Fotos, die diese Kamera produziert. Die Nikon D7000 bietet wirklich alles, um tolle Fotos zu zaubern, preislich absolut attraktiv und es gibt eine Vielzahl an Objektiven für das F-Bajonett zum erschwinglichen Preis. Mit dem 35 mm 1.8 lädt die Kamera zum experimentieren ein und zaubert wieder Freude ins Herz, wenn man zuerst den Sucher schaut, die passenden Einstellungen auswählt, abdrückt und das fertige Ergebnis auf dem Sucher bestaunt. Auf SD-Karte 1 speichere ich das RAW-Format und auf SD-Karte 2 die JPEGs, jeweils mit je 128 GB bestückt. So hat man jederzeit die Möglichkeit, auf die Schnelle, entweder fertige JPEGs zu verwenden oder später die RAW-Dateien am PC zu bearbeiten. Auch im Jahr 2026 hat diese Kamera ihre Daseinsberechtigung - zum fotografieren ein Traum, zum filmen nur Full-HD bei 24 Bildern, aber auch das ist OK, wenn man den langsamen Autofokus verschmerzen kann; besser man stellt manuell scharf 😉 Bildqualität, Farben und Kontraste beeindrucken - Nostalgie pur auf 16 Megapixeln gebannt. Es gibt keinen Grund, die teuren modernen Kameras, einer in die Jahre gekommenen DSLR vorzuziehen. Der Content-Creator sitzt hinter der Kamera und nicht in der (KI)-Kamera... old but gold!

Absolutely brilliant
I bought the D7000 DSLR as a foray into DSLR photography, thd camera is a treat to use. The manual that comes with it can be hard going, I suggest that if you purchase a D7000 then get yourself a copy of David Busch's book NikonD7000. It is well written and well populated with photographs of the camera. He makes it very easy to understand.

I wanted an upgrade from my D3000 and I am very happy with this camera. Still trying to figure out the new features but that’s part of the fun.
