It worked great to keep her from rolling out of bed in ...
Used this on vacation under a crib mattress on the floor for our toddler. It worked great to keep her from rolling out of bed in a strange place. It tilted the mattress back toward the wall a little bit, but that also helped keep her in bed.Upon returning home I put it on our converted crib. We have her mattress on the floor, and the crib has a base rail. This slid under the base rail, between the mattress and frame nicely. The metal disk and adjustable strap seem secure holding it in place. If you don't want to see the warning label facing out, and you can use the rail on the lowest setting, you could just attach the two base pieces facing the opposite direction - but beware, you won't be able to get them back off. If this is really an issue and you want to preserve functionality, you can unscrew the bottom piece of tubing and slide the cover off, then replace it facing the other way. All you would need is a screwdriver.Anyway, it's nice looking, lightweight, and easy enough to install. My kid loves that it's pink and thinks its cool, and it keeps her in her bed. 5 stars.

The Ultimate Bedside Bodyguard
Okay, letโs be real. Toddlers are like little drunk ninjas who have absolutely no idea how to control their limbs, and mine has managed to demonstrate this at full volumeโby launching herself out of bed more times than I care to admit. Enter the Security Bed Rail: my new best friend and, apparently, her personal bouncer.First off, let me just say, this bed rail is serious. Itโs like if a bodyguard and a superhero had a baby, and that baby decided to make sure my toddler stays in her bed and not somewhere in the next room (or the floor). The installation was straightforwardโno tools required, just a little muscle. Basically, I felt like I could start my own bed rail business. The moment I put it up, I watched my daughterโs face as she eyed the rail like, โWhatโs this thing doing here?โ and then immediately tried to throw herself off the bed (because toddlers, am I right?). But this rail? Oh, itโs like the Great Wall of China. She tried to roll over it, and I swear it laughed at her. She was like, โWell, that didnโt workโ and stayed put for the first time in weeks. The rail is so sturdy I actually considered using it as a backup to block traffic on the highway. I mean, Iโm not saying it could stop a car, but itโs like the Fort Knox of toddler bed safety. Thereโs no way my little ninja is getting past this thing. I now sleep through the night knowing my child isnโt somewhere in the house trying to do a midnight parkour session. It also folds down easily if I need to make the bed or change the sheets, so itโs not some weird, permanent fixture that makes me feel like Iโm living in an obstacle course. And, since itโs soft but sturdy, she can lean on it like a little toddler guardrail when sheโs getting up in the morning. In short: this Security Bed Rail is like hiring a personal bodyguard for your toddlerโexcept the bodyguard wonโt eat all your snacks and will actually help keep your child from making a break for it. My only regret is not getting it sooner... and maybe a matching one for myself (because I clearly need all the help I can get at 2 AM).

MADE IT WORK SAFELY ON A TODDLER BED
I bought this to use on my 16 month old granddaughters toddler bed. I'm adopting her, she's been with me since she was 2 weeks old, so I know her needs well enough to make full-time bedding decisions. The box does say NOT to use on toddler beds, but that's due to the spacing between the mattress and rail that might occur if not properly installed. The rail is too wide to fit in the space left over after the toddler bed rail is installed, but I decided to make it work. My granddaughter just switched into a toddler bed from a crib, and she was getting up at 5 a.m. and sitting in her chair looking at books! While she was safe doing that, I was not comfortable knowing she could be wandering around her room while I was asleep.Once the rail arrived and I realized it was too wide for normal installation, I thought it thru and figured out a way to make it work so it would fit properly with no dangerous gaps. I simply put the rail on the inside of the bed side rail, and the poles under the mattress as you would normally, and sized up the straps so the holding disc can be wrapped around one of the beds slats underneath the mattress. Her mattress is 5 inches thick and solid foam, so it does give enough to allow for the poles without causing the mattress to sit higher in the air. That is part of the reason the manufacturer wants the rail to be used only on a thicker, regular sized mattress. Also, her bed has the drawer underneath, so the front support poles hang inside the drawers, but does not cause any issues, I use the drawer for books. On a typical toddler bed with no drawer, I believe the poles would just hang below the bed frame.I'm not sure if a reader is able to make sense of my descriptions, but bottom line is, I was able to make it work almost perfectly on a toddler bed, without compromising safety. It is tight fitting and very sturdy. So now my little Princess sits up in her bed and talks Gibberish until I come get her, and she cannot roll out. Please see 1 photo added.

Easy Set up, Effective & A Good Deal
Itโs very easy to set up and I cannot stress this enough because a lot of things that come with toddlers & young children are complicated down to anything you get them can take you a while to set up but this is 1 2 3. I wouldnโt recommend it for a crib but it is good for a twin bed if you have a wiggly sleeper. Itโs definitely secure good quality and itโs a good deal.

I was surprised at how easy and well it worked
Purchased to use on the bunkbed in our RV. Works well because it's just the right size for the thin mattress. I purchased a more expensive one for her bed in the house. That one was a disaster! I ended up bringing this one inside to see how well it worked on our daughter's toddler bed (was a crib that converted to toddler size). I was surprised at how easy and well it worked. The ONLY thing I can not stand is that all the Warning wording is on the front!?! And it's a lot and very noticeable. It just clashes with my daughters cute bedding and room. Maybe by law they have to, I don't know. But I wish it was on the backside that faces my daughter. It's such an eyesore.

No more falling out of the bed for my little one.
We just transitioned our girls from bunk beds to their own individual beds and our younger daughter was consistently falling out of the bed because she had become so dependent on the rail. I was skeptical about this one because it was on sale. When I got it to the house I was very pleasantly surprised. It has a little lanyard attached to it that goes across the bed and a clip that fits on the opposite side of the bed framengiving it some stability. There are nights that I check on her were her entire body is pressed up against this railing and it never budges. For $20 it's worth a peace of mind that I'm not going to wake up to her sweet little self crying because she fell out of the bed again.

Bed rail
Works perfect. Her bed is kinda high so this is perfect

Very Short (Length and Height)
Will not work with lots of mattresses, the extenders to make it taller make it not sit great and it will tip or lean alot more so it makes a V with the edge of the matress. Not enough to fall out but not OK if your child is under 18 months. It is also super short. Which again, works if your child is very small but wont work if your child is tall / older (when a short rail and getting in and out of bed would make sense)I would take an inch off the given measurements all the way around. Was not impressed, but the return process was reasonable

Would be great if used between a boxspring and mattress
Not good if you have a platform bed with slats and no box spring, because it cant rest on anything so its not solid.
User
So so
Easy to set up but not so stable

The plastic piece that your supposed to thread the material through was broken when I received the crib rail but other than that it's working good
