Worked perfectly, pretty much a requirement for my Dell laptop
For some reason, Dell laptops come with straight power connectors, and that's a problem if you're trying to put the laptop into a hutch or use it on a shelf. In my case, it's a Dell Alienware 18" laptop which pretty much has to stay plugged in because of the high power consumption. I'm concerned that the sharp bend in the power wire might eventually cause the power supply to fail. This solved the problem -- the power wire itself is now straight and the 90 degree bend to fit the laptop reduced the clearance I need. While I wish this laptop could be powered from USB-C, this is the next-best solution.

Fits my HP Probook 4530s
I wasn't sure this would work on my laptop as it says it won't fit the 4540s and from the pictures I've seen that has the same AC jack as my 4530s. Well either they're wrong and it'll fit fine or the 4540s has a different jack or case than my 4530s because it works great on my laptop. I thought I might have to do some trimming on the adapter or the case because the jack is recessed in the body of the computer pretty far but it works like a charm. Plugs right in and doesn't rub anywhere. Now I'm wishing I bought the double set as I'm sure to lose this one eventually.

Does not work for Dell Optiplex 3280 AIO
This is well built. It sticks out further than I hoped for my unique use case, but more importantly it does not work with my Dell Optiplex 3280 AIO. This Dell seems to require detecting the power supply and with this adapter between the PC and the power supply, I get an error "AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined." If I remove the adapter, the Dell goes back to functioning. I know this Dell's power supply has a 7.4mmx5.1mm in its documentation and this device is 7.4mmx5.0mm. I'm not sure if that difference matters. Anyway, I only write this review for those with this specific PC.

Updated : Too Long, too loose, too short lived. Second one of original order did last any longer.
Updated :Used on a Dell. Male portion that fits into computer is too long and sticks out. Also a little too small in diameter and loose. Became electrically "open" (not passing power) in about 3 weeks of use. Second one of orignal purchase didnt last any longer. Junk

I wish they made a left-handed version !
When it comes to turning electrical power sideways, no product excels like the Iwlikey 7.4mm x 7.4mm Right Angle 90-Degree Power Adapter Connector Converter. I had been faced with my laptop power aimed in the wrong direction, but this adapter turned 90 degrees to the right. Not 88 or 89 degrees. Not 91 or 92 degrees, but precisely 90 degrees. The seas parted, the clouds lifted, blue skies abounded while the birds and bees did whatever they do in private, all in the knowledge that electricity had been safety and economically turned on its' side. Hallelujah, I say. Bring me more of these.

It doesn't heat up on my very thirsty Alienware 17 laptop.
The default cable that came with my laptop had a stout cable that fed straight into the back, without sufficient support to keep it from overbending. Late, but I guess not too late I finally got around to buying the right-angle adapter, and it works great. Except for clearance of an even stouter HDMI cable, it wasn't a problem, but for clearance, I also bought a right-angle HDMI adapter. Both work great!

Well it does it's job mostly.
This adapter does alright, but it sticks out a little more than I'd like and it doesn't support the power required by my laptop. This adapter vs. the standard power cable end really take up about the same amount of lateral space. The standard gets kinda bent/crammed, but for how much the adapter sticks out, therejust isn't much spacial difference. And i'm running an alienware laptop, the adapter somehow reduces the power supplied to the laptop that i noticed a reduction in my gaming frames persecond, reduced by half! So there's some design flaw that the maximum amount of power is not supplied to your laptop. This might make no difference to the average person, but for anybody doing anything high power consuming, it's a significan impact. Otherwise it does function as a 90 degree adapter for your power cable.
