Perfect Weight of Denim for Doll Clothes
I make American Girl & Bitty Baby doll clothes for my grand nieces. I took a chance on the weight of this and the other two colors offered hoping that it would work well for the clothes. I have heavier weight denims and they are harder for the girls to dress their dolls. Well, am I glad that I took a chance on these as they are perfect...just thin enough but also sturdy enough for jeans, jean jackets and dresses! I can also see in the future purchasing for a dress or skirt for myself. It is absolutely perfect. Another thing to mention, although it is 100% cotton it feels and irons like a blend fabric. Very little wrinkling out of the dryer and a quick press and it is great! Delighted with this purchase and fast delivery!

great denim for sewing
This denim is really great for sewing projects. It is lightweight enough to be easily sewn & manipulated. But, heavy enough to still be obvious that it is denim. I would highly recommend this for quilting & craft projects!! And the color is a very nice dark denim color - which, granted, i have only washed once - but it didn't fade or bleed onto everything else. I will definitely be getting more when it is back in stock.

Great fabric! But double-check yardage upon receipt.
I really like this fabric; this is the 2nd time I've used "Kaufman Denim 6.5 oz. Light Indigo Washed, Fabric by the Yard". It's wide too, which really helped in this particular purchase. I use it for skirts -- it's heavy enough for a skirt; it isn't too stiff to drape and flow. The only disappointment for this purchase was -- whoever cut it. They cut it crooked AND short. I ordered 3 yards, but only received 2 yards (Thank you Amazon for refunding the 3rd yard I didn't get.), and since it was cut crooked, it was about 4-6 inches shy of 2 yards. Other than that, I will definitely order this fabric again.

Not attractive!
This fabric is basically ugly and the pants I made from it are so unattractive that I won't wear them.
