Water resistant NOT water proof
Fantastic packable jacket with serious construction. I've had mine for over a year now and use it spring through fall. It is completely windproof and blocks some serious squalls on the Pacific and back East on Lake Ontario. The pockets are kangaroo enormous and will hold gloves, hat, headlamp, keys, flashlight, phone, wallet and a probably squall ponchoI have worn it out in a storm over just a t-shirt just to see how it does in wind driven rain. It does fine for 30-45 minutes. Then the wet will start leaking in. If you frequently are walking in the rain keep a lil poncho in one of the huge pockets. There is room. It is NOT mountaineering equipment. It is not for hanging out Southeast Alaska or Upstate New York rain dumps! If you in a normal place and just out for a suburban jaunt with the dog, jogging, or popping in and out of the car shopping it will be just fine even in pretty sizable rain.It looks great. The fit is true to size so it is very comfortable. I sized up to wear both a hoody and a vest underneath in late fall. The color is fantastic. The hood is usable! One of my favorite jackets.

Perfect for our upcoming trip to hike the Cascades
PLEASE read all of the reviews that talk about sizing. This item runs large. I am somewhere between a medium and a large, generally getting a large in a pullover like this, intending to wear it as a waterproof layer over a sweatshirt or sweater. I read the reviews and opted for a medium. It's still pretty big, but in a good way. The sleeves are long, yet the elastic keeps them in place above my wrists. But if my hands get cold while hiking? I can pull them down and over for extra warmth. And I definitely have room for a large sweater/sweatshirt underneath, in case it is needed for warmth. It's got an elastic pull with a toggle at the waist to pull that in if you like. Same on the hood - you can secure it on your head. Zippered pocket for secure storage AND kangaroo pockets on the front.Look at the model. That's how mine fits. A bit boxy, but totally cute if you ask me. And practical. Yes, it's lightweight. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE. Buy it as a top layer for the hood and waterproofing and I will be STUNNED if you are not happy. At this price I want to go back and buy every color. But as my husband would say, "How many windbreaker pullovers (or insert any other item I am obsessed with at the time) do you truly need? Well, need and want are different discussions, and I WANT this one in every color. :-)I have no earthly understanding of the one star reviews.

Withstands the rain, cold and wind - great travel jacket!
So glad I took this on my trip to Scotland. The weather was all over the place and this jacket was so clutch. It’s lightweight but can easily be layered with a sweater underneath. Even by itself it cuts the wind the ease. The picture is from a hike on a crazy windy day as you can see from hair. Without this jacket the hike would have been miserable. Extremely waterproof too! From light sprinkling to heavy rain, this jacket did not disappoint. I wore this golfing and it was definitely appropriate to wear on the course. The jacket has a loose fit but I would say it runs true to size. I normally wear a size small and the small fit great. Enough room to layer underneath but not an overly baggy fit.Added bonus I didn’t realize, you can flip the front pocket inside out and the jacket has its own carrying pouch for easy transport!

Good fit and features; not breathable
I was looking for a thin, breathable anorak for hiking and mountain biking. First ride today was 45 degrees F, wore a medium fleece and cotton t-shirt under this.Good: It kept the wind out very well and the roomy kangaroo pouch was great for a swap of sunglasses to clear riding glasses as the sun set. Build quality is good, fit was a true medium with enough room for a warm layer, and the cuff elastic is snug enough to keep the breeze out, but stretchy enough to pull my sleaves up too.Bad: After 40 mins of strenuous riding, I peeled this off and it was absolutely soaked on the inside. 100% my own perspiration condensation. Nice and dry on the outside though. So I imagine this would work pretty well in the rain. Not breathable, and the tiny vents under the arms were ineffectual.Recommended for keeping the rain and wind out, but not recommended for strenuous exercise.

Perfect solution to keep in your car for those sudden downpours
My package this little rain jacket up under my driver seat and now I’m never without a rain jacket when the sudden downpour occurs. Three XL fits perfectly and is a nice style, the material is thick enough to prevent any wind or rain from getting in, but light enough to feel like you could carry it all day without knowing it in your backpack. There’s no heavy lining inside to make you sweat and it folds all up into a pocket very easily I’d buy two if I were you.

Love it and want in a couple more colors!!
My favorite jacket ever! This pullover is made with the best details. The fabric it’s made with is smooth, light weight, durable and not overly hot. It’s zippers, cinching cord at the bottom, wrist elastic, and even the zipper pulls are of exceptional quality. All of the seams, and stitching is excellent. There are no loose threads or mis- stitchings. The fit is generous and comfy. I tried going down a size to see if it fit better, but it was going to be too uncomfortable around the hips. I am not one to wear something I have to pull on all day. The sleeves were a little bit long, but I usually roll up once on all of my jackets. The upper arms are perfect, not too loose or snug. The chest and waist are good and loose, hips are perfect and the length is just covering my butt. 5’5, size 16/18 and I bought XXL. The XL, fit and went over my hips, but if I wanted to wear a heavier shirt under it… no.The pink color is the one I got, but I would love one in every color. The colors are vibrant and when it’s raining, the bright color is pleasant addition!

Definitely serves its purpose
I bought this for my husband as a light jacket to carry with us in theme parks, etc - and we live in west FL, so rain can come at any time. He is 6'2, about 240lbs, and he loved the fit and how the sleeves were just the right length for him. He was also happy that it folds into itself, which is really great for a grab-and-go item to keep in the car or a backpack. The color was as expected and the material is soft but seems to be durable so far. I haven't had to wash it yet, as it's only been worn once - and it dried quickly after a light rain. I'm not sure how it will fare after a heavy rain, but it served its purpose to keep him warm and dry while running through WDW. He used to wear one from Old Navy, which is a little thinner, but he likes this one better because it seems to repel water and has a roomier feel. I would likely purchase this item again if I needed a replacement. I gave five stars because the fit, feel, and description are all spot-on for an active guy.

Love the Pullover jacket
i purchased this jacket because i love hoodies and with the warmer weather coming it will be to hot with a hoodie on. i absolutely love it. the material is lovey it is softish and i get many compliments on it and everyone asks where i bought it from. i have sent many of my friends your way to purchase them as well. i will be ordering in a different color soon. There is one thing for me, i have short arms and the arms are too long, but i just fold them under and that works just fine as the cuffs have and elasitc band inside. The rest fits just wonderful, lots of room if it was a chilly night and i wanted to wear a hoodie under it,

Not lined
I bought a jacket for upcoming trip. It is see through and unlined although the description clearly states ‘flannel lined’. Don’t waste your money on this rubbish.
