Brach's Party Mix Individually Wrapped Hard Candies Variety Pack, 5 Pound Bulk Candy Bag

I bought this without reading the size of the package, expecting a couple good handfuls worth of candy. Makes sense for $7, right? WRONG! I got so much more than I expected!! The best surprise I’ve gotten myself in a while. Definitely worth it for the price. The package is a bit smaller than my torso, and I included a picture with some candy outside the bag for scale. All the candies taste amazing, and my only real criticism is that one or two pieces in the larger bag weren’t wrapped. I’m going to blame this on factory error, but the wrappers were still in the bag so idk. Anyway, this didn’t make me take any stars off because a loss of two pieces compared to all the rest is inconsequential. 100% suggest purchasing!!

I liked all except one of the flavors in the bag. I really found the cinnamon flavor strong and unpleasant. I'd like to see the strawberry and chocolate mint flavors sold in individual bags because they are my favorites. That said, it's a good buy. Note: I read other reviews regarding missing flavors and I have not had that issue.

As several reviewers have mentioned, they mostly contain the stripped mint candies - probably around 66% are the green and red mints. But, for the price, I thought that was still a good deal. They taste good and I just buy other flavors such as butterscotch and cinnamon and mix them in. I think it’s a good deal for the amount of candy you get so I’ll be buying again.Update: 11-2-20This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered these. The company must be reading the reviews as this batch was a very good mixture of all the different flavors. Very pleased and will continue ordering as needed. The price on these is very reasonable. 5 stars is well deserved.

My 5 lb (80 ounce) bag of Brach's Party Mix of individually wrapped hard candies variety pack arrived timely and in good condition within the Brach's bag and an Amazon box. The candy, which has twist wraps, does taste fresh. A serving of 3 pieces of candy totals 60 calories, 10 grams of sugar, 10 mg of sodium, and 16g of carbohydrates. The bag states that the mix "may vary", so you should not expect an even amount of each type of candy. I received 414 candies in the following assortment:78 butter scotch disks, 59 chocolate mints, 0 butter toffee candies, 100 cinnamon disks, 122 peppermints, 36 spearmints, and 19 strawberry filled candies. Although the description in Amazon currently indicates the possibility of receiving butter toffee within the assortment, the bag itself does not depict this candy. Two of the candies in my bag were unwrapped, so I discarded those, but to be precise, did keep them in my count of this assortment. There were 5 empty wrappers. My favorites to receive would have been the toffee, of which I received zero, and the strawberry filled candies-of which I received only 19. For those willing to take the risk of not receiving a larger amount of the candies they might prefer, this purchase would be a good value. With Halloween around the corner, any of the less-desired candies within the bag could easily be put to use then, or added to a general candy dish in the home or office, or in little candy bag appreciation gifts!09/07/20 UPDATE: I ordered a 2nd bag which arrived today. There were 2 empty wrappers, 1/2 of an unwrapped candy, and 3 whole, unwrapped, therefore also inedible candies inside. The remaining 397 candies arrived in good condition and were distributed as follows: 115 butter scotch disks, 44 chocolate mints, 0 butter toffee, 55 cinnamon, 63 peppermint, 88.5 spearmints, and 32 strawberry-filled candies. This is an uneven, but fairly decent mix of fresh-tasting candy at a good price. With Halloween coming up soon (although the candy that I received probably won't make it until then), having some extra lying around once the favorites have been eaten is not a problem!!!.

I was hesitant to order this for two reasons. One, I wasn't sure I wanted to spend 17 bucks on hard candy and two, people were saying they got bad mixes with little variety. I was having a hard time finding any kind of mix in the stores so I just went for it. My order came today and I have to say I am totally pleased. It has a great mix of variety, is fresh and a best by date next November which is good because it will take awhile to get through this bag. I mean really, there are over 400 pieces. LOL. At any rate, I am finding it an excellent buy and varitey and highly recommend it.

My first review! Yay! But nay...The product I received was not the same item pictured or in the description. The bag I received contained six types of candy, as opposed to the seven pictured and, again, in the description. There is no butter toffee, and the image on the bag itself shows only six candies, so this isn't an instance of the bag by chance containing fewer toffee than I would like. Well, I guess technically 0 is fewer than I would like. As soon as I got it, I opened it up and chowed down before I noticed the mistake, so I can't return it.Everything else went fine. Good price. Got here quickly. Very few are outside of their individual wrappings, a negligible amount. The candies that I do have taste good. I'm just disappointed since the toffee are my favorite.For some reason, this order in my history does not have a "problem with order" button, so until I can find a way to contact customer service, I am leaving this review to hopefully catch the eye of the seller.

I've got to stop buying this. At first I wasn't at all sure about the ones that are supposed to be chocolate and spearmint but now I'm addicted to them. My husband takes all the cinnamon: I like cinnamon but if I have too much of it, my tongue gets sore. This is actually a really good buy; the amount of candy you get for the money is excellent, and it's all good. Pretty in a clear jar for Christmas, also usable for Halloween. Or like me, you can just sit around and eat them more than you should and all your teeth will probably fall out but you'll be happy.

Nice to find these

Quite nice, especially the cinnamon. My only complaint is that 1/3 of the bag was peppermint. It would be nicer if it was more equally mixed across all the flavours.
