Perfect Small Tuner for Any Guitarist – Compact and Reliable!
I’ve used a lot of tuners over the years, and the D'Addario Accessories Micro Headstock Tuner is by far one of the best small tuners I’ve come across. The compact design makes it easy to clip onto my guitar without being in the way, and the discreet size doesn’t affect the look of my instrument. Despite its small size, it’s incredibly accurate and does the job perfectly every time. This tuner works great for acoustic, electric, bass guitars, and even my ukulele! It’s versatile and adapts easily to different instruments. I especially love how quickly it tunes – the LCD screen is easy to read, and the clip-on mechanism ensures a secure fit on the headstock. It also holds up well, even in noisy environments like band practice or gigs. What really stands out is how reliable and consistent it is. It’s easy to use, and the precision of the tuning is spot on. The low profile doesn’t distract, and the fact that it’s so lightweight makes it perfect for travel. Whether I’m at home or on the go, I always have it with me for quick tuning. If you’re looking for a small, high-quality tuner that won’t let you down, the D'Addario Micro Headstock Tuner is a must-have. I highly recommend it for both beginners and seasoned players alike!

Compact, Accurate, and Super Convenient – A Must-Have for Any Musician!
These D'Addario Micro Headstock Tuners are absolutely fantastic. I use them on both my acoustic and electric guitars, and they deliver quick, accurate tuning every time. The compact size is a huge plus—it stays out of sight while playing, and doesn't interfere with the aesthetics or balance of the instrument. The clip holds firmly without damaging the finish, and the display is bright and easy to read from multiple angles. I love that the 2-pack lets me keep one on each of my frequently used instruments—no need to swap tuners between sessions. It's also great that this works for a variety of string instruments including ukulele and banjo. Highly recommend for anyone from beginner to pro. This is one of those tools you end up using daily without even thinking about it—and wondering how you ever got by without it!

Very nice tuner with a small quirk
I use this tuner on a classical guitar. Previously, I had tried the D'Addario Eclipse Headstock tuner. I found this tuner to be somewhat inaccurate to the point where I had to manually fix the tuning afterwards, which defeated the purpose. So I returned it. I decided to try this Micro Headstock tuner based upon a video review and I have found this tuner to be more accurate. When I tune with it, post-adjustments are rarely needed. I'm not sure why this one seems more accurate, but perhaps it's because of the way it mounts to the guitar, which is a little bit more of a direct clamp than what the Eclipse tuner had. It's very compact, and the display is readable and simple. There is one quirk: the B string will always show as F# first and kind of toggle between F# and B. I can see the B enough to do a proper tuning, but this toggling is a bit annoying. I really don't feel like returning it as it works well enough.

Just trust me
Legitimately the best clip-on tuner I have ever used. I have had 2 or 3 Snarks, and my last one was the KLIQ UberTuner (please stay far, far away from that piece of junk). As most people who've used these things know - the first point of failure is always the hinge. I don't care which brand, after enough rotating through normal use, the pivot joint WILL wear down and leave you with a "limp noodle". This little thing solves that problem, and then some. It's about as minimalist and unobtrusive as you could get without having something built into the body of your instrument. You just put it in place and give it a squeeze until it fastens snugly to the headstock, then it's able to rotate along its x-axis so you can adjust it for readability. Really, really great design, and I much prefer not having something sticking out off the end of my guitar The LCD screen is bright and incredibly easy to read, especially considering how small it actually is. Another great feature is the ability to change the orientation of the display with the push of a button, so you're not reading upside-down or sideways. As far as doing it's actual job - it's great! Super responsive (which is a must), and it doesn't "jump around" like some other tuners tend to sometimes do. For me, this thing was definitely worth the few extra bucks over yet another Snark.

This thing is awesome
I love this tuner. I actually bought 2 of them. Clip on tuners are great especially since they don't make me take up a space on my board for a tuner pedal. But they can be kind of an eye sore on an otherwise awesome looking guitar. This one is so small you barely notice it's there. The battery lasts a long time and it's very accurate for tuning guitar and bass. I want one for every guitar I have because it's super convenient to just leave it on the headstock. It's very inconspicuous. I wish I had 6 of them.

Big things come in small packages!
OMG!!! So tiny, so awesome! So easy to use! I wanted something small enough to fit in my uke bag that wouldn't add weight and clutter. I had read the reviews on this and the size was appealing to me. That ended up being the deciding factor for me. I'm a traveler and every ounce counts when you're packing up the backpack. When this arrived, I was actually shocked at just how small it is!!! It's perfect!!! And it's super SUPER easy to use. It's discreet, uncumbersome and I pretty much just leave it on constantly. I love that it can be put on to your instrument in many different ways and that the screen allows you to have the display turn four different directions. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that I had read in reviews and descriptions that it was also supposed to have a built in metronome.... mine does not. But I won't let this change my opinion of this GREAT product!!! So happy I picked this one. I could literally leave it on my instrument permanently or put it in a pencil case inside my bag. Perfect! I like the multiple colors on the display that let you know how far off you are. If you need a low-profile, light, easy to use tuner that's easy to read and position on your instrument... that you can use with anyone knowing it's there..... ORDER THIS TUNER!!! Love it!!! I do!

Won't stay on! Use only if no other options. (when weight is the overriding concern)
I CANNOT BELIEVE I AM GIVING THIS 1 STAR DEVICE 3 STARS.! This tuner deserves 1 star because it is only a matter of time until its ratchet fails and the tuner will no longer stay on the instrument The reason I can't award 1 star is because I continue to buy and use them. It is otherwise the ideal ukulele tuner where weight is paramount if the tuner will be left on the instrument most of the time. If the ratchet didn't fail, this would be one of the easiest 5 star reviews I've written. Also, I have a workaround for when one fails: * I put the tuner on the instrument. * I squeeze it to how it should be if the ratchet hadn't failed. * I slide the tuner off the instrument without moving the ratchet. * I use superglue to fix the ratchet so that it won't move. * I let the tuner dry overnight, just to be safe. * I slide the tuner back on the instrument. So, flimsy = 1 star. Without flimsiness, 5 stars. There are things one can do should (when) the ratchet fail(s). I give up! 3 stars. My original reviews follow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This could have been a great tuner. It's one of those situations where first opinions can be misleading. I got one, disliked it for the reasons stated below, and threw it in a drawer. Lately, I decided that this tuner would be IDEAL for the ukulele, where weight is paramount. I have a few ukes, so I bought two more! What I' now finding out is that the ratchet system wears out, and no wonder. The ratchet is an inexpensive piece of plastic with tiny grooves. There's no spring. It appears that its the piece that fits into the groove that's worn out. No matter which part it is. It will no longer stay on. It's a shame. I was really starting to like this tuner and change my rating to 5 stars for use with a ukulele. But, one star it is. ---------------------- Most other tuners have s spring loaded clamp that affixes the tuner to the instrument. This one doesn't. It has a ratcheting device. You squeeze it. and the tuner is "held in place" by pressure and slight friction from rubber pads on the inside surfaces. There's a plastic piece on the back that holds the ratchet closed. Touch it (like when an instrument is in its case and the tuner touches a surface) and the tuner pops off. Those looking for something small might consider a Son of Snark (aka mini-Snark).

I Set My Guitar's Intonation With It--Perfect Job!
Yeah...I know it's small, but it's mighty! I used it, exclusively, to micro-tune my classical guitar, constantly taking readings with this tuner at the 12th fret as compared to the open note and adjusting the saddle as needed. This tuner did a great job--I didn't need my old rack-mount tuner because this one was super-accurate, and that really surprised me!!!!! The proof is in the pudding, they say, and now, thanks to this inexpensive but great tuner, the intonation on my guitar is about as perfect as it can be (given the fact that it is an acoustic instrument) which the flutist and violinist I play with appreciate a lot. I liked it so much that I purchased two more for my other classical and my steel-string Taylor, and it works great on both of those too.

Little wonder
purchased this product based on the reviews, and I must say, it's truly a little marvel. While I knew it was small, I didn't anticipate it being this tiny! Nonetheless, it's essential for musicians.

Very micro. Very discreet. Secure. Works well.
It's good. Get this one. Small. Discreet. Does its job well. But doesn't announce its presence. I gave up on the Polytune for this one. Attaches securely. Full 360 angle rotation. Adjustable display orientation. Definitely MICRO but still easy to read. Replaceable battery so you don't have to throw out a working unit just because the battery dies. Just know this hugs tight to the clamp and wherever you clamp it. It doesn't sit out and away. I thought it might be problematic. I was looking at a Snark as well. But it wasn't a problem at all. It's so discreet and secure, you can just leave it on. No hunting for the tuner. No clipping on/off every time you need to tune. Just pick up your guitar and it's right there. Can't get lost.

Brilliant little tuner.
I use these tuners for my bass guitars. They are accurate and work very well for my bass instruments. I never take them off as they are so small and discreet. The letters are easy to see, and can be viewed from different angles. Purchased one as a gift for a friend who plays mandolin and is he is delighted with the ease of use and the size of the tuner. I have been using mine for over 6 months and have not had to change the battery yet. Would highly recommend this tuner to fellow musicians.
