Gillette Series After Shave Gel

Used to buy this at the store, but recently I couldn't find it at the stores I usually go to. It is really a terrific aftershave gel. It packs a punch in terms of bang for the buck, it has a subtle and pleasant aroma, and it is easy on the skin.

I needed a new razor and, since I have sensitive skin, I also researched aftershave options. After buying the Amazon Basics 5-Blade MotionSphere Razor and refills, I decided to try this Gillette aftershave gel. It came in a six-pack at a very reasonable price. I’ve been using it for about a month and just finished the first tube, and I’m extremely happy with it. It instantly soothes my skin after shaving and has a nice scent that isn’t overpowering. My wife even says it makes me smeal mainly (Yo, if you know, you know). Highly recommended and very affordable.

This is a favorite of my hubby’s. It’s smells clean and fresh.

With the apparent demise of Mennen Afta after shave gel, which I had been using since the mid-'80s, I was left with little alternative than to try the competing--and now surviving--Gillette product. Although I have not yet run out of Afta, I tried the Gillette After Shave Gel this morning for the first time since it came out in the '90s, and found it to be an acceptable substitute. The gel is a bit thinner than Afta, but has a light and pleasant scent with citrus notes. It produces a pronounced cooling sensation, which is nice for the few minutes it lasts, but it does not feel as if it moisturizes to the same extent as Afta. A few hours later, I do feel a slight amount of skin irritation, but not nearly as much as I likely would have felt without it. So even though it it somewhat less effective, I guess I can live with it, given the present lack of alternatives.

Buy in bulk! Great product for a good price

I love this stuff. It really soothes the after shave experience. But I like to use it as well to put small portion's on my beard and bushy eye brows because it is great at getting things to lay down and moisturize.

Been buying for 5 years , good product at great cheap price, hard to find in stores. Good scent fast drying.

Best aftershave, specially for very sensitive skin

Part of my daily shaving routine for 20 years and idiotically, Gillette stopped producing it. I was reduced to sourcing it from the US at extortionate cost. Great to have it back. It smells pleasantly fresh, is non-greasy and acts as a soothing aftershave without the AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH...! - inducing sting of neat aftershave. Pretty easy on my skin, though there is a version for sensitive skin you can also get. One bottle lasts me weeks on end. I repeat: GREAT TO HAVE IT BACK...!!!
