Gibson Elite Ocean Paradise Square Reactive Glaze Stoneware Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 (16pcs), Jade

I love the shape and bright colors of this set, it’s a must have and it’s also more beautiful than in the pictures. I am a chef and am excited to use these for my home. They are very well made and the overall look is elegant, the size and thickness is perfect and has a good weight to them.

Great every day dishes. I bought my first set 6 years ago for my son and I and they have survived quite well. We abuse and use these every day- both the large and small plates, the bowls are my standard cereal bowls and the mugs are perfect size. I love the presentation this gives and the square design and deep ridge. Holds juices well and does not scratch or wear. I have broken a corner off a few and they can chip, but at this price for a complete set of 4 I see as a bargain. I just ordered a spare set to have to replace broken items over time and expect these will last me my lifetime.. Have found matching pieces such as a large platter, sushi plates and added all to the collection. Many compliments from friends and family.

Elegant!! I bought a sushi plate same design a year ago and loved the style. I recently saw two bowls for $40 when I saw this whole set I bought it and it just arrived. It was very well packaged. I was concerned since I saw some reviews but I got a perfect set. The photos showing the packing someone posted is not the way these were packed it was very well packed. Maybe someone got the message and changed the packaging. They are plates though and I would not ha w been surprised if one was cracked. They came in individual boxes inside one box with cardboard spacing in between. I posted some pics of the packaging to see that it’s different then what someone else posted. The set is very classy and the pattern is beautiful. Almost a work of art. As for the not uniform shape I think it’s just part of the style. My sushi plates aren’t uniform it’s like each piece is individually made. I’m contemplating buying a 2nd set to keep as spares I think I’ll have this set for many many many years! I see some had issues in the long run if I start seeing problems I’ll edit my review. I noticed the edges aren’t as rustic as my sushi set. These are more glazed over which is nicer looking this way. The back says there microwave dishwasher save. I’m extrememy pleased! You can’t beat the price too. Google the bowls Kosui and you’ll see what I mean! Great Product!!!!

***EDIT 12-16-19 I'll add a picture of what is happening after washing. The square and circle marks from the bottom of some of both sz plates and bowls is all of the sudden VERY pronounced. It wasn't visible at all upon purchase. 1st tiny chip in a plate also. On the outer edge. Plus side.... they looked great for my granddaughters Life Skills class meal sje had to make. Pic of table set included. I've bought 2 sets this week. The 1st was totally fine. The second has some issues with the paint on the bowls. Always something when I try to have nice, new things!! The colors are beautiful and vibrant. The 1st set ran well through the dishwasher.

The Color is doable. Not totally loving it due to opaque glazed over the color. One of the plates came with had a real sharp edges on the bottom which that i had to filed down. But no biggie. I bought it since i bought one set before & the plates cracked inside the microwave as we were warming up food (after one year of use). So i wouldn't put them inside microwave if you like them to last a long time. The plates are on the heavy side but doable. Still like the design, shape of dishware and will keep it.

So I've officially had this dishware set for 3 years now & I'm down to 2 of each item. Over the past 3 years I've used them almost 3 times a day & hand washed them each time (because I don't own a dishwasher). These dishes have been thrown around from shelf, counter, table, sink, drying rack, & back to the shelf. Not to mention the times they've been left on the floor for the dogs to clean. To my surprise they've held up VERY well. Almost every one that broke was due to me slamming them around in the sink when I was washing them. The one exception was when I intentionally broke a large plate during an argument. I'm writing this review because I'm just about to make a second purchase, because they're totally worth the price, hold up well, & look awesome!!

The colors are vibrant and the dinnerware is substantial. Being retired, my husband wants to help in the kitchen and I've found that our dinnerware was WAY too fragile. I've lost count of the bowls broken and plates chipped. Suffice it to say that we needed stoneware and this set filled the bill. As a plus (which I haven't told him about) these plates are smaller than our old dinnerware making smaller portions not so identifiable! I love the shape of the bowls, in fact, I love this dinnerware. It arrived in perfect shape in an insane amount of cardboard. The only possible drawback is that it is heavy!

Bought this as a gift in September. Didnt open like I should have to inspect the goods. At the unboxing everything looked great until we got to the large plates. One of them is broken in half. The rest look good and are nice to eat with. If the seller could help in replacing the one plate I can update the review for good customer service added.

It's a very unique looking set of dishes. The colours and patterns on each piece are different. I do think that they need to be handled carefully. The paint seems to easily rub off the outer edges, and the glass on the surface dents easily. The size of each dish is good.

Super Qualität, Farbe wie abgebildet, gerne wieder kaufen

Looks good and as described

The quality is really good. However the bowls are very big. They are big soup bowls

Muy buena calidad y muy bella
