Tekna 703566 1.2mm/1.3mm/1.4mm Fluid Tip Prolite Spray Gun with 900cc Aluminum Cup and TE10/TE20 Air Caps

I bought this for a clear gun (I use a devilbiss plus for base) and I'm extremely impressed with how flat it lays out clear. Had to switch to a 1.2 tip to get the perfect finish with the thinner clear coat I'm using. Once I went to the 1.2 it left no orange peel at all. Can't wait to keep using this amazing gun. Amazon had a better price than anywhere I could find. Don't hesitate to buy this gun!

This is a beautiful gun. I just got it, but I painted my dash GM black single stage with the 1.4 tip and it came out great. There was a very small amount of orange peel but will color sand out with 1200 grit along with that sand scratch and be ready for a second coat.I us the 3M PPS system and also bought the adapter 16046 type 15 . The air regular is a little tricky to use, but i do like it. I have about a 25ft air hose and there was about 6 psi difference from the tank to the gun. Buy with confidence.

First off , the gun is nice, sprays nice, the base coat looks much nicer than the harbor freight cheapo gun and also better then graco fx3000. The big negative however is the finish and build quality is horrible. the first one I got had big scratches on bot sides and a divot/ crater in the finish on the handle, second gun I got the machining on the fan and fluid knobs were horrible, I mean it literally looked like they didn't finish machining it, very rough machining. it's a $500 gun, why is the build and quality so horrible? I kid you not, even on one of the sets I got had scratches on the t20 cap. really Devilbiss? really? I put together a gun with the best looking parts and returned the other gun, these guys really should be ashamed

Amazing paint gun, i can see why it is the porche of paint guns with great quality in every detail.Expect to last years! I was between the british version gti pro lite vs the tekna and this i felt was a far better deal with all the tips included. Had me interested in trying the pri pro for my new job coming up. First timing using the digital gauge it works well, i would like to have a choice between the regular and digital just for the fact of batteries but i feel the way it shuts off i will not go through the as often. Kinda grew on me using the gauge.

This is Devilbiss 's high tech gun made for the American market, it is called something else over seas, but the same gun.you would have to be a rank amateur with both arms in a cast to mess up with this gun....Ha!Ha!All I can say is read and follow directions for the product you are spraying and this gun will deliver a finish second to none.You just don't put paint in a cup and add a little thinner then expect the gun to self adjust to your mess up.The companies that manufacture automobile paints will tell you how to mix, what tip to use and what pressure at the gun you will need, don't be a know it all and not look at these specs.These are recommended specs, but you won't need to vary far from what they print.Everyone has a little different technique to spraying and may have to change the air and tip to accommodate their style, but if you are new to spraying, follow what they recommend on the settings.This gun I would put up against any on the market.

I rated it lower because out of the box there were no instructions that said you must turn the air cap retaining ring real hard the first time to seat the seals. After that it tightens as you would expect. I was just turning it to snug it up like it was out of the box. One sentence in the INSTALLATION instructions would have prevented this problem. I wasted 4 hours over two days on a holiday weekend trying to figure out why air gurgled inside the cup and nothing sprayed, and the air cap was loose.Now I can use it to see if I like its capabilities.

I have been a hobbiest with auto painting but, this paint gun -fluid tip combition makes me look like a pro. Many good comments on my paint jobs. You get what you pay for. Good price and good results.

Great paint gun! I am a professional autmotive painter thats sprayed with all the top brands, this is my favorite one of them all. I use a Sata 5000 for my clear coat, but if i had to pick just one gun for everything, the Tekna pro lite would be my gun for sure. I wouldn't even recomend a Sata 5000 to someone without experience.
