Instant Sun Mousse

This stuff works better than the fancy stuff I used to use, that cost three times as much! I apply it after I shower, I make sure I exfoliate my legs, and then I apply a little bit of lotion, and apply the mousse with an application mitt. No streaking, no uneven colors, no dark splotches, and most importantly, no weird looking "wood grain" because my shins were too dry. It's the only tanning product I've used that tells you that you can apply lotion first. It makes a huge difference! I only apply it to my legs, and a bottle lasts me almost a year. Some people have complained about a bad smell, I haven't noticed any fragrance to it at all. It doesn't come off on your sheets or clothing, and it lasts for a few days. I apply every 2-3 days, and get legs that have a nice, natural- looking tan all summer long!

Love this product! It gives my skin a beautiful, natural-looking tan without any orange tones. It's easy to apply, dries quickly, and leaves a nice glow that looks like I spent time in the sun. Perfect for a quick, streak-free tan!

I already have brown skin. Was looking to warm up my skintone since I have cool undertones. I was looking for an orange self tanner. I got the Ultra Dark Bronze. It works beautifully on my skintone and definitely pulls orange. I got a lot of compliments specifically on my skin tone. The product itself does get sticky but I personally didn’t mind it. I put on multiple layers and I left it on overnight and rinsed the next morning. I also loved the smell. It did apply a bit unevenly with my hands and arms getting significantly deeper. The palms of my hands are also orange but maybe it’s my fault. It was overall a fun experience to put on. It looks almost as good as a spray tan. The true magic is when you’re in the sun. I love it and will be self tanning all summer.

I'm very pale and avoid the sun like the plague since I just burn, suffer, and then peel back to my natural paleness :) I ordered LIGHT of course, and it worked well for me. Instant color as advertised. One application and I had a natural-looking light tan hue. NO ORANGE I did heed one person's review to "shake it like it owed me money" before use. It's a foam, so if you can hear it moving in the bottle, you didn't shake it enough. I used an application mitt and strongly recommend the use one. I used the Yvoier Self Tanning Mitt Applicator, but you can search amazon for 'tanning applicators' and find others that you might like better. No bleed through the mitt, but I also used a food-grade glove inside the mitt since others had a bleed-through problem. (I truly think bleed depends on how much product you use and how often you wash the mitt.) My mitts wash easily and hang to dry overnight. Some report a pleasant smell, but that's my only complaint. I couldn't wait until the hours passed so I could shower. The smell is not pleasant to me. But that's not going to stop me from having a natural tan this season!

Have used this 5 times now Nice natural color & easy to put on Make sure you exfoliate any rough spots before you use & use sparingly on knees elbows & ankles I use moisturizer on these areas before use & haven't had an issue with dark spots or streaks Will definitely buy again

I used one can and liked it at first but on my second can I noticed that it rubs off bad I wore a white tee shirt one day and when I took it off it was all over the inside of it and on the back it had started coming through my shirt I’m glad I had something it so nobody seen the dark spots on my shirt I’m going to try a different brand

I love this self tanner! The smell is very minimum, subtle and pleasant. Does not smell like previous self tanners including the old jergens that was a gradual tan. I usually take a shower at night and after an hour or so later ,I put on an application with my bare hands. I feel like there is little color immediately and by morning it turns a nice, natural tan. It does not transfer to clothing or sheets. Minimumly sticky and I'm not even sure the right word is sticky but my legs feel like they have on lotion even though it's dry and it's uncomfortable under sheets. So I put baby powder on them and then it's fine and comfortable. The only downside and this is probably only for older women with slightly crepey skin... If I put an application on more than 3 nights in a row, I feel it makes my skin look tan but older. I have figured out, one application is enough for 2 days of good tan.

I'm an extremely pale woman living in the PNW with fear of skin cancer, so sun is a rare commodity for me. I recently decided to try sunless tanning products and tried many that were streaky, orange, stinky, and just overall terrible. After using this product for the warm months (for my area this is April-August), these are my tips for using this product! Exfoliate skin and shave as needed. Apply small amount of lotion to elbows, feet, hands, and knees to avoid splotchiness in those areas. Then apply onto dry skin (I found no lotion was best on the rest of my body until after the tan had dried, often the following morning). I started application on my legs and work my way up. It's best to apply this mousse with a mitt (I purchased mine off of Amazon as well). Apply in circles, making sure to massage into the skin and cover all areas. It's fairly easy to see spots you have missed since there is small color development immediately. I also used a makeup sponge to apply tan to my face. After that, I let it dry for 15-20 minutes, sans clothes. Although it's supposed to dry quicker than that, it really doesn't...especially if you use an average amount of product. I hated to put clothes on while still sticky so I would just go around business as usual until it dried satisfactorily. I would apply at night, let it dry, sleep in it, and then lotion in the morning. Not gonna lie, no fake tan smells great on the skin, and this product is no exception. However, I didn't find it totally offensive, and it was relatively easy to mask with a nice smelling lotion. There was very little transfer to clothes and not too much onto bed sheets. The color that did transfer washed out in the washing machine. Bottom line: there is definitely a learning curve to applying without streaks, although the use of a mitt will help enormously. If you want to maintain an even tan, plan to touch up every 3ish days, exfoliating every other time or whenever needed to start fresh. Don't even think about going into chlorine with this tan, as it will fade it into a splotchy mess! Prolonged use in any water such as lakes, showers, etc will fade it. I didn't notice any breakouts or any detrimental effects to using it on my face, and I have sensitive skin! I would definitely use this product again and recommend it to any other pale people looking for a bit of a sun-kissed look. It looks natural, makes you look toned, and you will receive many compliments on your tan! However, be prepared to spend a lot of time applying and waiting for it to dry. I spent my summer being a slave to fake tan and was wholeheartedly excited to abandon it in autumn. I'm a low maintenance gal and can't stand so much upkeep!

Probably one of the best and most natural self tanners I’ve ever tried… I’m only on here writing review because I’m busy doing what my boyfriend hates most, bulk buying it 🙈 totally worth it if he finds all the bottles hidden in the cupboard.
