Best and most complete insight into the final days of the original Triumph motorcycle company, in the large and impressive book!
So many Triumph books have been written over the years, but all have ignored the final days and final chapter of the motorcycle history of the old Triumph company, until now. Author Ian Falloon sought out the last dealers, like myself, who were there beyond that last gasps of the company, and he included our narratives about those last days. Fresh photos and period brochures that have not been seen before keep this large coffee table book interesting, with the emphasis on later decades, as the early history has been covered so many times before. Including a less extensive accounting of that early history here gives those new Triumph enthusiasts a knowledge of marque history, without the same blow by blow development of every early model, which has been covered before in earlier books. Highly recommended as an addition to your existing Triumph motorcycle history library, or as a first look into the marque. Makes an impressive gift, too!

Excellent book. Lots of good photographs and/or promotional illustrations of Triumph's throughout the years. Interesting side stories about key people associated with the brand. Generally a good balance between photos, technical details, and general historical text although some of the detailed discussions of incremental changes made yearly to model lines during the 40s through 60s might not be relevant to many readers. Although the book is subtitled "1937-Today" there are actually several pages and photographs covering the period from 1905 to 1936 so in that regard the book actually spans the full history Triumph motorcycles. Coverage of the recent Hinckley bikes and the brands transition and rebirth connects owners of current bikes to the bikes and riders of the past. If I have a complaint it's only that, by covering Hinkleys right up to the publication date (2015), this book naturally dates itself. 2015 doesn't form a natural stopping point for discussing Triumph. We'll soon need a second edition!

Complete Book of Classic and Modern Triumph
I have always loved Triumph motorcycles, but only recently have I owned my first Triumph bike (I'm 51). I am not even close to being a Triumph history or model buff, so if there are errors in this book, they do not jump out and grab me. With that being said, the book appears to be a very good documentation of the models and years, with adequate background history as well. Its almost a little overwhelming, but none the less, a very good book, with good pictures and content. I feel that if you read this book cover to cover exhaustively, like I did as a teenager, your knowledge of the Triumph motorcycle marque would be second to none. My only disappointment with the book is that it is a larger coffee table sized book. It doesn't fit on my shelves unless inserted lengthwise, or on its side.

This Is A GREAT Book on Triumph History and Stuff
This here book goes into detail about a whole slew of Triumphs. Things you probably never knew. Things about Edward Turner and his major role in Triumph's success. Plus, groovy and cool photos of some CLEAN Triumph bikes. You'll like this book, or you ain't . . . a Triumph lover.

More a picture book than an in-depth history
Nice book, but it is light on details. It is more a year-to-year quick overview of Triumph models. Pictures are excellent but if you are looking for a deep dive into engine specs, frame numbers, etc. you won't find it here. Nice addition to the bookshelf but not an encyclopedia of Triumph.

Great book
Beautiful book on Triumph motorcycles with beautiful pictures. Book was in excellent condition and bikes date from 1937 until relatively recently. I bought this for my husband and I think I love the book more than he does.

Great for any Triumph motorcycle enthusiast
I have always been a Triumph motorcycle nut and now that I was finally able to get exactly what i wanted I wanted to learn a little more of the history and heritage of these great motorcycles. This book is full of interesting facts, stories, pictures and historical data to feed any triumph enthusiast. I have read it cover to cover 3 times and I still pick it up for research or curiosity.
