Works great, lasts a year+
I buy one of these same drip cushions every year. I live in an apartment building and my neighbor's AC drips directly onto mine in the loudest way. This cushion muffles the sound and has stayed in place through wind, rain, snow, hurricanes, you name it. I do leave my AC in the window year round so the pad wears down annually, but I'm fine replacing it each spring. It's been consistently reliable for the last 5 years.

Quality is Economy
I only buy Frost King Air Conditioner Drip Cushions. Yes they cost more than some of the others sold on Amazon but they do the job really well - no drip noise ever - and one cover can last me for 6 -8 years even with constant exposure to the elements. The foam is thick and of good dense quality. The magnetic backing holds the cover firmly in place. I've never had one blow off and I live in an apartment building on a high floor so the winds can be strong. With Frost King you really do get what you pay for. So spend those extra bucks. Quality is economy.

Solved a major noise problem, has survived big winds
I bought this product when I moved into a new apartment and discovered how noisy rain and drips the AC from the apartment above could be on my AC unit. After a year, it is still doing it's job but the foam has become thinner overtime. It still however muffles the rain and drips very well. But I mis-measured originally and ended up with some edges of the AC unit uncovered so I wanted to get the fit right so I ordered another one. I would recommend this to anyone dealing with noisy drips or rain. I'm on a higher floor of a building and we've had some big wind gusts and heavy storms but it has stayed put on my AC unit. What a simple but great product.

Works but doesn’t drop the sound completely
So I wish it was thicker. I live on the the floor below and the neighbors upstairs had their Ac over my AC and the constant tapping of the dripping water was driving me crazy. This helped but didn’t stop the sound completely. But it helped cushion the sound a bit.

Needs stronger magnets; better adhesive; and more durable materials.
The Drip Cushion worked well in light rain and mild winds at first. However, the magnetic strength is weak, the magnetic sheet material is fragile, and it has poor adhesion to the foam. It is easily dislodged by strong winds.Hurricane Ida's 20mph gust remnants easily dislodged it again. This time it flew 35 feet away.

Thank you sweet gods of sleep!
Like you’re doing right now, I sifted through all these reviews with tired and grumpy eyes.I was stoked to put in my new window unit and enjoy the cool air and white noise each night. Unbeknownst to me at the time that the peaceful sounds of sleep would turn into the sound of ....shrieking hell. Something as nothing as a bit of condensation dripping from the roof turned into being startled awake to the sound of Jesus throwing a bucket of nails down onto my bedroom window.Like some of you, I got this in and thought “well hell fire and tarnation this ain’t nothing but a magnet with some foam on it!” but I reluctantly installed it (okay...my boyfriend installed it) anyway.Thank you Frost King you sweet, beautiful gods of sleep. I haven’t been woken up to flying nails since.Totally worth the cost. You’d not likely be able to buy a large, heavy duty adhesive magnet and good quality foam for what you’ll spend on this. And it won’t show up on your Pinterest fails.Just get the dang thing.
