For the price I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they are, yes they do take a bit of time to cut out but great item, would recommend.

These letters are very small. I found that unless you were stamping something an inch or so in width they looked completely wrong. Not what I would use for lettering fondant on anything that is 1.5 - 2 inches or bigger.

Very fiddly but a great effect

I see some reviewers complaining that the product is a pain to use because you have to cut each piece neatly, which is true, but with a sharp box cutter it only takes a few minutes. The real problem (for me) is that the size of the letters is minuscule. The photos tricked me showing the base of the letters at .6 cm but in fact - I just measured the letter H for example - the actual letter size is 3x4mm. Which is a bit too small for my use (stamping small leather patches in a press). For biscuits, clay and crafts, if the letters are not perfectly aligned (clearly this is not a professional product, it is more like a toy), and too small, it shouldn't be much of a problem. The quality of the product should be clear just by looking at the price.

I would recommend using a sharp pair of scissors to cut all the edges off, this will make it easy to slide right in to slot! once you have done this its perfect for printing messages on fondants and biscuits! I have used this many times now, I love it!

Awful product. You have to cut out each character without leaving any side bits sticking out otherwise it wont go into the slide for stamping. It took ages to do and then to slide into the guide was fiddly. If you missed a bit of plastic off the slide, taking it back out then with a pen knife to shave the excess off is annoying. You get what you pay for with this product. Wish I'd have bought a more substantial product which is easier to use.

The holder made it easy to make sure the words were in a straight line. Some of the smaller tiles were a bit fidly to cut and use though.They are small and cheap, but perfect for what I needed. Great value!
