I really like the flavor of this sauce. It has that distinctive fermented pepper sauce flavor, almost a little smokey although there are no smoked ingredients. I'll definitely use the whole bottle but I bought it for the heat and it just isn't there. This one appears to be another case of marketing the ghost pepper name but keeping it tame enough for the masses. Despite the number one ingredient being ghost pepper, it isn't much hotter than tabasco sauce. I picked up a bottle of Dave's Gourmet Ghost Pepper sauce the same day and a single drop is hotter than this whole bottle.So, if you're out for flavor then grab a bottle now. It tastes great. If you're looking for ghost pepper level heat, keep looking because this isn't it.

This sauce is very flavorful. I get a little smokiness, and a little fruitiness, which could be from the ghost pepper, but I can't tell. There's not much heat to speak of, which disappoints, because of the implied heat from using ghost peppers. It doesn't even have as much heat as store brand entry level hot sauce. Still, it tastes good. It's also a little watery, and separates in the bottle. I can shake it up, but it's not thick enough to stay on food well. Whether or not this matters depends on your application; i.e. if you mix it with sauce it won't matter, but you also lose the flavor.

Excellent flavor and initial tongue bite but fades almost immediately compared to some others I’ve used. Seems to work best when mixed in other liquids from what I experienced. Solo on a dry cracker or piece of meat did not give a very full sample of the flavor, but mixing it in salsa had great effect. Could be hotter without giving up overall taste, small sip of the bottle wasn’t even at a heat level I expected. I tried the ghost pepper but I think I’ll try the Trinidad scorpion next time, same brand though as this is a quality product.

I bought this sauce from a different place, the local Lowe’s I work, this sauce is amazing used it on every thing so far from pizzarolls to chicken and even burgers, like many other reviews yes the sauce has amazing flavor but the heat isn’t SUPER MELT YOUR FACE OFF hot, it’s enough to make you sweat a little on the forehead, if you want the hottest you can get from them it’s the Family reserve one drop had my mouth and throat on fire, in a good way of course.

This hot sauce is absolutely delicious. Some will be disappointed that it is not as hot as the ghost pepper name would indicate. But it is a tasty and versatile sauce nonetheless.
