I did not purchase this product to put on a light show in my car. Although, I admit, the feature that has the lights change to the music in the car is pretty fun. But for me, I just wanted to be able to have a solid light (reasonably normal “whitish” color” to illuminate the floor area of my vehicle so I could ensure I don’t leave items behind. And the lights are brighter than I expected, which is good. The quality seems very high considering the low price of this product. It is a bit of work to install (the actual “install” takes about 30 seconds … the cord management takes more effort. For the front seats: I cleaned the area off with rubbing alcohol and let it dry before applying the adhesive … and it wouldn’t hold for more than a few seconds. So I used Duck brand Max Strength Nano Grab double-sided gel tape. And this has held perfectly. For the back seats: My vehicle does not have surface area in the back to attach these to. I’ve seen videos of people installing them to side area (below the door panel) and others setting them on the floor. I elected to simply place them in the strap of my front seat protectors so they point down towards the floor of the backseat area. No tape, screws, or zip ties required for that. And so far they haven’t moved around at all. The design is good. The cord is able to be tucked neatly so it’s not in the way. And the little remote control that is attached to the cord lays out of the way tucked up to the shifter/console area on the driver side. The 12 volt plug (which powers these lights) has an easy to use red button on it which illuminates when on so if your car does not automatically shut off it’s 12 volt plug when you turn off the car, you can see it and remember to turn it off. Therefore it does not impact battery life. This price of this product is very good. The brightness is excellent for the price. If you want to add some light (or fun) to your vehicle for a very low price … choose this product.

The LED lights are impressive—bright and well-made. The wire length is just right for installation in the rear passenger and driver footwell, and they can be easily tucked away. The glue appears to hold well, but I'll keep an eye on it once they’re exposed to heat from the sun. The app control feature is excellent, allowing for easy adjustments and scene settings. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. The red lights really give my car a sporty look!

The media could not be loaded. Super easy to install, my car has a cigarette lighter port that stays on even if the car is off so I hooked these baby’s up to the positive and negative and boom! Let there be light! The adhesive is one reason why this product gets 4 stars, I had to use zip ties to get these to stay. Another reason these are 4 stars is that they will only play one color at a time if that makes sense. Every strip only can play 1 color and I should’ve bought the nicer model but this one works well. The wires were barely long enough to reach the back of the driver and passenger seats and I drive a lancer. The last reason for 4 stars is because the app is impossible to use in my opinion. I cannot find where the other user diy light schemes are and I know they exist. I’m still searching Reddit for the answer. Durable and cool vibes, there are just too many issues for me to give 5 stars but very good compared to the competition.

I bought these Govee LED lights on a whim, and now I feel like I’m driving a spaceship—or at least a really fun Uber. These lights are BRIGHT, colorful, and surprisingly easy to install. I had them up and running in under 15 minutes, and that includes me dropping the remote under the seat twice.The app control is a total game-changer. I can sync the lights to music, set different moods (date night? rave? existential crisis?), and even change colors from my phone like some kind of lighting wizard. My passengers are always impressed, and honestly, I catch myself just sitting in the driveway playing with the settings like a kid with a new toy.Long story short: if you want your car to have a little more vibe, this is your sign. Just be prepared—once you get them, you’ll never want to drive without them again.

Pretty neat lights, I just put both of them in the front because there isn't many spots to mount a strip under the front seat to shine into the rear, but I like the extra light in the front anyways. The adhesive would not stick to the trim in my Toyota at all, idk if it's just Toyota trim or not but it isn't a big deal to just use zip ties to secure them. They're pretty bright and have a bunch of different colors and an audio sync mode, I just keep mine blue.I hate having things stick out of the 12v socket so I hardwired mine, you can just lop off the socket and give it power wire switched 12v power and ground it anywhere, you can use little fuse taps to make it easier, sometimes you can find unused fuse locations that have switched 12v, do this at your own risk I'm not responsible if you burn your car down, always do your own research before messing with electricity or consult a professional to do it for you.
