The beauty of this book is incomparable. FLW is my favorite architect. The quality of the paper, the beauty of the images, the narrative, the history and the immersion are a pure joy.

This book is an entrancing, informative, amazing document. The author is utterly conversant with Wright's work and in this volume takes the absolutely brilliant approach of focusing on Wright's visualizations rather than the finished buildings, documented in so many other places. The result is an astonishingly powerful glimpse at Wright's creative process of architectural thinking. The images and text are incredibly rich, and it is a deligt to mine a single page, or to flip through for an overview. The connection between the drawings, which are themselves extraordinarily beautiful two-dimensional objects, distinctive in style, and the three-dimensional buildings they describe is fascinating. Wright's conceptual and creative capabilities are made abundantly clear and are astonishing. Reading this book left me with a truly uplifting sense of that the human mind can be capable of doing. Beautifully done; not expensive at all for what it is, and worth every penny.

Beautiful book. I'm fascinated by Frank's genius and loved seeing projects that never made it into reality and his own drawings and sketches. He was too far ahead of his time. If he were alive today he'd be bigger than Martha Stewart and would be a gazillionaire. Looking at his designs it's hard to believe they were created almost 100 years ago. Genius! If you love Frank Lloyd Wright you will thoroughly enjoy this book which offers another look into his artistic mind.

Liked size of drawings.

Excellent publication, very accurate, outstanding graphics quality

This is a wonderful book. Great insight to how he perceived his projects. A great piece to add to any collection.

The book is excelent, with a lot of drawings and amazing sketches !Bruce Pfeiffer is a great researcher.I high recommend this book to all architects interested in design process.

Being a fan of the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. The book, "Frank Lloyd Wright Designs: The Sketches, Plans, and Drawings" is fantastic in the way it covers and displays the work of one of the most significant people in the field of architecture. Not only does it display the plans, drawings and sketches of his existing buildings: but also, of projects that, (unfortunately), never did get approved and constructed.Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural designs had a unique aesthetic that I do not see in today’s architecture.

Glorious sketches which would have benefited greatly by more floor plans.

Sehr gutes Werk über FLLW, über den ich schon alles an Literatur habe und nun auch diese Buch. Für mich sehr interessant. Das Meiste kenne ich schon, aber manches halt noch nicht.

Libro grande tanto en precio, tamaño como calidad... Lo tengo entre mis favoritos de mi biblioteca de arte.Espero que haya sido útil mi valoración
