I have relied on Frizz Ease for decades, and it has never once let me down. This is my absolute go-to for defined, beautiful curls with zero frizz. This is my go to product for my wavy hair. It helps keep my flyaways down, and protects my hair when I want to straighten it. It's super easy to use. I just put some in my hair after towel drying, and use my fingers to comb it through. And and it works well enough that I don't need to brush my hair afterwards. I also appreciate the fact that it's not a scented product, which is great because a lot of perfumed products give me headaches or make me break out.

I have wavy/curly mostly fine hair and this has been my go-to product for years. It's not a miracle worker, but it helps control my frizz and puffiness before it starts. It doesn't weigh my hair down and helps my wide-toothed comb glide through smoothly. Recently they've introduced new packaging and a new scent. The most recent bottle style had SO much unnecessary plastic, and it was difficult to disassemble for recycling. The new packaging is much simpler and easier to deal with, so I'm happy about that. Like others, I'm not thrilled with the new smell. It's very sweet. Not floral, but more like an artificial cupcake scent? Kinda like one of those Lip Smackers every 12-year-old had in 1996. I liked it better before when it had the more muted "salon" type scent. But I wanted to write this review to say that I personally don't find that the new scent lingers in my hair or on my pillowcases. It's potent when I first apply the product, then I stop noticing it once my hair is dry. I'm probably a 7/10 on the scent sensitivity scale, so pretty easily annoyed by product smells. It's definitely not enough of a problem for me to abandon the product. If you're on the fence, try it for yourself - then if you hate it, you can still snatch up the old version while it's still available.

I have dealt with frizzy hair for years, especially in the back, and used John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch-Up Crème - Anti-Frizz Styling Cream after drying my hair on the ends and fly aways. I recently started to think about using product that decreases frizz before i dried it and decided on purchasing John Frieda Frizz Ease Beyond Smooth Frizz Immunity Shampoo & Conditioner, Bundle together on Amazon was only $19.00 AND John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength Hair Serum, Nourishing Hair Oil for Frizz Control, Heat Protectant with Argan & Coconut Oil, since i have loved the styling cream so much. Prior to drying my hair and after a touch of towel drying, i sectioned off my hair. Back and both sides separate. I used 1 pump on the back, it is quite thick, thinner hair may only need 1/2 pump, and focusing about 2 inches from the root down to the end ends. Massaging it in and really working through the ends of hair. Then 1 & 1/2 pump (to use on BOTH sides), doing the same thing, 1-2 inches down from the root to the ends. It clearing states do not use on the root, so i made sure not to go there, it may make your hair feel odd, since you really do not style the root. I have used other products like this in the past & left somewhat of a sticky thickish texture to my hair which i did not like. After working all the product through my hair, blow dry as normal and i am extremely happy with the results. NO sticky film, doesn't feel thick at all and most importantly, NO FRIZZ. I really wish i had came to the realization that John Frieda has been in the hair care business for decades and they would have exactly what i was looking for in a haircare system. I will not be buying anymore expensive salon products anymore (which i had just recently done!) and NO it did not help with my frizzy hair at all. I is unfortunate i cannot return them but, on the flip side, John Frieda has everything i need at a price i can AFFORD!!

Excellent. Left my hair feeling and looking smooth, and beautiful. I also deeply appreciate the fact that this product is cruelty-free, a major plus, and vegan formula. No noticeable scents or aromas. I will most certainly purchase this John Frieda Frizz Ease product and use it from now on. Thank you John Frieda!

I’ve been using this product over 30 years and been trying others occasionally but always come back to this product, as it helps calm my frizz and reasonably priced. Just got a new bottle and it looks updated. Was the scent changed? I never really noticed a strong scent before. It smells very strong almost like terrible air freshener/soap. The smell is so strong, I don’t think I can tolerate the product anymore. What happened?

Works so good

Frizz Ease provides a nice, lightweight, glossy, smooth finish to my wavy/curly hair that holds all day. My one issue is that the bottle pump never works. I would prefer to have the option of a squeeze-type bottle. Addtionally, I would prefer a scent-free product.

Me gustó mucho este producto. Llegó en perfecto en estado. Lo uso después de bañarme y me desenreda el cabello súper rápido, lo deja muy suave y con brillo (si eres de cabello seco como yo, te lo recomiendo mucho), tiene un aroma muy rico. Solo debes aplicarte un poco y esparcir en toda tu melena, controla el frizz muy bien.
