I bought this support pillow to address breathing difficulties due to bulbar palsy. This was recommended by my respiratory technician and has done its job. I love the fact that I can use 3 of the 5 positions it has for my problems. Most nights I use the 30 degrees position for breathing support and on nights when the difficulties are more severe I use 45 degrees. When I need to sit up the pillow is easily adjusted and offers comfortable support at 90 degrees. I am very satisfied. It offers fair support for the pain that develops from positioning for breathing and I don’t believe anything could offer more. When you’re dependent on positioning for breathing with an oxygen mask on every night you’re forced into maintaining certain positions and stiffness is inevitable. The pillow offers comfort and support with enough give to eliminate having really stiff joints or neck.

Had this for a few weeks now. I needed an incline that I could use to watch TV/play games from my bed. Stacking pillows and craning my neck was annoying. It gets the job done! You may need an additional pillow for comfort. This thing is nice and tough. I was worried it was going to be flimsy compared to wedge pillows I saw at the store but it feels AWESOME! It supports my torso and doesn't feel like it's getting crushed. I'm around 220lbs. When I use it as a back-rest against a wall it works well! I'm impressed with this thing and recommend it to anybody who needs an incline in bed.

I had some trouble finding a good position that would work for me. The pillow itself is a good support but due to my body conditions I cannot have edges or odd angles or my circulation cuts off, sometimes rather badly even stopping my breath and waking me in a panic. In its normal configurations I was having trouble. I needed to sleep with my head elevated after a minor surgery and prefer to continue to do so due to digestive issues. I do not have a headboard but have a little space between my bed and a wall with a window. I was finally able to arrange the long part of the wedge into this space with the smaller part on my bed and then place my pillows into the angle space this creates, it's difficult to describe. The point being is that it works for me. I appreciate how this is constructed to allow some creativity. I am now able to sleep comfortably on my back or on my side with my head raised. I also use the wedge so I can sit up bed. I may find other positions over time. Ideally this wedge could have a less abrupt transition from the bed, maybe making it a little longer and thiner. The cover did have wrinkles at first but this has not been a problem. Its soft and supportive. Perfect size for me.

This wedge pillow was extremely helpful to my husband when he had shoulder surgery...and then a few years later, got bucked off a horse and broke the other collarbone.

After ordering I was loaned 3 wedge pillows for post surgery. I failed to notice $24 shipping to return this pillow - had I seen the return policy I would not have ordered. Refuse to donate money to shipping so opened the wedge. It is softer and more comfortable than any I was loaned

I had knee replacement surgery. I love this wedge pillow. I use it when I need to ice and elevate my knee. I also like that it will be useful at other times for other needs because of how it is made. Some pillows only have one possible application and shape. This one is versatile. There are five different ways you can move the hinged wedges so you can adjust it to your needs. It is well made. the fabric is soft. The cover is removable for washing. I am very happy with this wedge pillow.

💖 I had bilateral mastectomy yesterday 05/13. This wedge pillow arrived yesterday one day early and I can not possibly express how wonderful this item is. As and RN, I can say this is the most important item (besides a cup for water) that allows for comfort and position for sleep. The cover on is soft, the foam is firm, and it is adjustable to sit up or recline depending on activity. I had a very good night sleep post op day 0 and that is almost unheard of! I am so thankful this arrived 1 day early and absolutely recommend this item 100%. Buy this item as a gift for someone you love that is having surgery as it improves mobility independence with transferring from sit to supine to sit. I can see using this wedge for many different purposes in the future and it transfers from bed to couch to bed with little effort.

**Edit** It has been about 3.5 years since I got this and reviewed it. This pillow has held up extremely well with heavy use. The only thing that has happened is the Velcro strap ripped out from the seam. This was due to user mishandling and is easily fixable. If you’re wondering if you should get this I would say yes it is one of my most favorite purchases and was well worth the money spent. Everything about this wedge is wonderful aside from only being able to Velcro to hold it closed from one direction instead of both ways. I had hip surgery and am unable to sit straight up and down. This wedge does wonders aiding me in sitting and actually holding me up during my recovery period. It is super comfortable to sleep on as well. Very sturdy and I would definitely recommend this thing to anyone and everyone.

Exactly what I was looking for ... versatile and breathable. Perfect for hiatus hernia and gerd sufferers.

I’ve not used all the variations yet but very happy with the quality of the product. The handle is a stroke of brilliance.
