128MB Memory for Akai MPC500 MPC1000 MPC2500. Equivalent to EXM128

You bought your MPC because you know that no matter what other drum machines or sequencers come out the MPC is rock solid and pretty much essential for any production setup for hip hop or EDM. This memory allows you to expand your on board sampling time in Mono from 136sec to 24min 28sec which allows for longer and/or more simultaneous samples. Understand that even if your not sampling and chopping every sound (bass, drums, strings, etc.) inside the MPC is a sample and this RAM makes a huge difference regarding what you can do with this beast. Do yourself a favor and add a CF card so you can store more sounds (16bit Wav) in the machine and you've got an entire studio in a box.- My Qualifications -I use my MPC in conjunction with Ableton and Logic, usually slaving the MPC to Ableton with a usb to midi cord.

This off brand ram is totally compatible with the MPC 2500.works just like the ones 75.00 more. ram is ram, its working or is not in my opinion. I had a hiccup during one of my productions. I immediately thought it was that after market ram. turns out it was the SD Card. This as a great buy

Works perfectly with MPC 1000 for a third of the price akai charges for their namebrand memory. Have been using it for 6 months with no issues and no lag. Definately Buy for your MPC, you are going to love it.

AMAZIGN AND WORKS FOR MY MPC1000. Don't buy the AKAI memory, they charge a extra 100 dollars for the same stick with their name on it.

The memory work perfect with the Akia MPC500 Drum production machine. Price is right for this size memory!! No problem, best buy for your money.

Worked great. I tried lots of other chips and none worked. This was a little more money but worth it. Don't waste your bucks on cheap chips like I did. Still way cheaper than official memory ($150)

popped right in to my mpc 500! easier than I thought it would be! had my doubts at first, but my mpc wouldn't be nothin' with out this! ridiculous the amount akai tries to charge for theirs. this is the way to go!
