8" Rodin The Thinker Cast Resin Statue Bronze Finish

I have wanted one of these for quite a while. The less expensive one's are resin and hollow and look "fake"/cheap. The all brass ones are quite expensive, and look great... So I was hoping for a middle ground, and found it. "The Veronese Design Rodin Thinker Statue is made using cold cast bronze, which is neither traditional solid casting nor slush casting. Here's how they differ: •Solid casting – Molten metal (or resin) fills the entire mold, creating a completely solid piece. Very heavy and durable, typically used for fine art bronzes. •Slush casting – Liquid material is poured into a mold, then the excess is poured out before it fully sets, leaving a hollow shell. Lightweight but can be more fragile. •Cold cast bronze (this statue) – Bronze powder is mixed with resin and cast into a mold. It's solid throughout, not hollow, giving it a genuine heft (2.8 lbs) and a lustrous bronze finish — but without the extreme weight or cost of traditional solid bronze casting. So it's closest to solid casting in structure, just using a resin-bronze composite rather than molten metal." It is solid and has heft and truly looks fantastic. If you are on the fence please jump, because this looks and feels like solid brass, but at a fraction of the price. I am extremely satisfied, and would whole heartedly recommoned this piece

Great buy

Looks like a very high quality item, very happy with my purchase.

Buena calidad y es un buen regalo para decorar

I was surprised at how heavy this is, and it's a great size. I've always admired this statue -- moreso before it was altered by the Mandela effect (if you know, you know).

I bought this to replace a resin statue I had which wasn't that much cheaper than this but felt like cheap plastic. The difference between that and this for 15 dollars is incredible. This is a solid, heavy, beautifully finished bronze statue. Looks and feels like a quality piece. If you're in the market for these statues don't go for the cheaper options. Go for the veronese design. You won't regret it.

Always loved this statue, Wish Amazon had a lot larger size!

Superbe statuette et d'excellente facture !

Really nice statue. Has a nice heft to it and looks fantastic. Looks exxy. Surprised by the size, thought it would be a desk ornament, it’s up on my bookshelf instead.
