I like it.
It’s what I use. I did hair for years so I feel comfortable using this product on myself. Good color and coverage.

Nice color. Since it's neutral, I don't have unwanted shades mixed in with the blonde.
I mix it with another shade, both of which are blonde. But beware if you mix hair color with any box that says "Ash", that it may darken your hair more than the shade on the box. My stylist warned me of this when I told her my color came out too dark. Ash definitely leans towards darker. It seemed to take longer to wash out as well. If when you dye your hair and it's too dark, consider washing it out with very warm to mildly hot water to strip some of the darkness. Once you leave the color on your hair for a few days, it's not likely to lighten up much, so maybe within a day or less if you want to reduce darkness or some color that you don't care for. True also if you use any of the browns. It happened to me with even the medium to light browns. If you're wanting to reduce brassiness (red tones), you may want to try half with ash shade and keep the other color a neutral if you mix them together. But if you want reddish tones, don't use Ash at all. Also, I found any of the champagne blonde or browns tended to make my hair a little pinkish. Since I have graying hair, it also tends to take on reddish tones when I color it. I try to always wear a hat when in the sun for very long, as the sun will redden your hair as well. Take it from someone who has learned the hard way. I do prefer L'Oreal Excellence for covering gray hair better than some of the other brands.

Love this haircolor - but you have to use it in a particular way.
This hair color works more like a glaze or even the way that a semi permanent hair color works except it's permanent. It doesn't seem to lift color, it only lays down color. I think that is why many people complain of it being too dark. But if you use it in the right way it is great! The trick, especially if you have less than 70% gray and up to medium brown hair, is to use a blonde so that your grays are highlighted and your natural color is only darkened a little bit. On my medium brown and gray hair the 8G Medium Soft Golden Blond works great. It doesn't look like that box at all because of all the darker hair that I have, but the finished result is exactly what I wanted - a kind of highlight/low light look. The transitions between tones is nice and the blonde highlights are sparkily. One tip that I think helped with the final result is that I first used Color Oops on my hair to remove as much of the old hair dye as possible to aid in my hair not turning too dark and also to get the nice highlights too. When you use Color Oops on medium brown hair that's been dyed, afterwards you end up with reddish hair from the previous lifting of color. But when you put this hair dye on afterwards, the red mellows out to a very nice golden blonde/brown. The bottom line - if you still have some of you natural color you will not get the super blondey blonde that's on the box because this hair color doesn't lift, but if you like the highlight/lowlight look, this can be achieved with this hair color. Just make sure you choose a blonde or you are likely to end up with much darker hair than you expected.

I love this stuff
I have bleach blonde hair, and I was looking to get away from using a highlighting kit as it was damaging my hair and I could not keep up with the color. This is the third time I have purchased this product. The first two times were at Walgreens, so was happy to find it here. My daughter is currently using my phone so I could not take a picture but it has colored my hair a nice beige, neutral blonde. This, I believe has been less damaging and looks more natural, plus requires less maintenance. I don't have grey hair, so that was not an issue for me. My roots do have a bit of a red tone but I am happy as it makes me look less washed out and brightens my face a bit and my hair has gotten healthier. This color has worked better than a lot of other colors I have tried in the past. Since, my hair was bleached my hair does lighten up after several washes, but overall, I am happy because it saves me time and money. I think if you are hoping for a very blonde result, you will be disappointed. My package did not arrive damaged. It also seems to work fairly quickly.

Didn't work on my hair
Light Natural Blonde. I purchased this to just brighten up my dark blonde hair. I did like the applicator! That worked great! I left it on for about 15-20 minutes. It did not look like it was doing anything but I didn't want my hair to turn brassy. It actually made my hair darker than it was to start with. I have never had that happen before. Maybe it just didn't agree with my hair. I won't purchase this again.

Excellent product. I purchased to correct another brand of ash blonde that turned purple. I thought the gold would neutralize the purple and it did much much more. The fact that it is designed for mature grey/white hair made my hair soft, lustrous and youthful. The shade is a gorgeous lt/medium golden BLONDE with lighter highlights throughout. It's been 5 weeks and the colour has held nicely with 2-3 washes a week going a slightly lighter shade of gold! I highly recommend and have already purchased it again.

Worked very well. I love the plastic applicator, which makes doing my roots so much easier. I wish you would bring back this colour on amazon, as the price is less expensive than retail.

I colour my roots every 4 weeks. Love this colour! Great smelling conditioner. Gentle on hair.

This is not a medium blonde, more like a reddish brown. Now have to wait for it to grow out. Tried L’Oréal years ago and had same issue. Not a bad colour if that’s what you want, but I am (was) a blonde.
