Hostas arrived in excellent condition.
The Hostas arrived with beautiful, healthy roots. The dirt was very rich dark quality too. There were already leaves growing as well. I must say the bulbs arrived in extremely healthy condition.It is early April. I planted them the day they were received. The temperature has been high 50’s F day & high 30’s F night or higher. They are doing fine so far. I am anxious to see how well they grow.

Super healthy and growing like a charm
I always worry about plants on amazon, but I decided to take a chance, and I am glad I did!Right out the gate, they were so healthy and intact, and are growing so much every day. The seem to love their spot along my deck, and already add so much to the space. Great product at a great price point.

poor quality
We bought 36 Hosta 'Sieboldiana Elegans' (3 Pack) Plant Roots. These plants should be very easy to plant, and my partners who handled the plants have years of horticulture background. We planted them and watered everyday as we did with all the new plants. After almost a month, none of them in this batch came to live except one, while all the others we purchased from different vendors have grown more than three inches. This product was definitely not of acceptable quality. We contacted the seller about the issue, but were completely ignored. We want to share our experience with other potential buyer, and warn them about the quality issues of the product.

I had no luck with this bare root hosta. Would Not even sprout.
This was not Easy to Grow for me. I had no luck getting this bare root to grow. Guess next time, garden nursery with a live plant will be better. I felt this was expensive for 1 bare root hosta. I gave it a try and lost . I should have known better, with only 2 reviews.

Great plants!
I received the hostas on time and as described. The blue angel hosta and the guacamole hosta roots seemed alive, but the patriot hosta roots appeared dead and brittle. I soaked all of them and planted them. It has been a week or so and they are all growing and thriving, even the patriot hostas. Would definitely purchase again.
