A good product for the money
Readings not as accurate as my Fluke meter but had many features I needed. As the old saying goes "Close enough for government work." I would buy this meter again when one is needed.

Surprising Quality Considering the Price - You Have To Decide If You Need One
My neighbor is a retired professional electrician. During a very hot summer, we all noticed weird electrical problems - dim lights and strange noises from the air conditioner. He pulled out a Fluke multimeter and determined that the utility was delivering our neighborhood lower than ideal voltage. I didn't have a multimeter so I asked him how I could buy one. He laughed and told me that Fluke was the gold standard and very expensive for the typical homeowner. That changed with this Vine item ... I showed this multimeter to my neighbor and he raised his eyebrows - "This is a really nice meter ..." Then he asked how much and shook his head - he thought it represented a real bargain. He put it through its paces back to back with his Fluke and he felt its performance was on par with his trusty Fluke. Oddly enough, I had a directional bulb fail on one of my cars. I popped it out but the filament looked perfect. Hmmmm. I decided to use the meter's Ohm function and it showed that the bulb had an invisible-to-me break. Simple use of a complex device but very effective. Most home owners may not have a need for a device this strong and complex but if you do simple electrical work or if you work on your own car, a meter like this will come in very handy. Recommended for the reasons stated ...

GREAT Multimeter, but may be overkill for average user
I'm going to keep this brief - this is a terrific multimeter with a plethora of options and features. But those very same positive attributes may be why it isn't ideal for everyone. To put it simply, I don't think most users are going to ever need all the features this offers, and having them adds complexity. A little elaboration: You have multiple options for where you plug in the test leads, various types of leads, extra accessories for other types of testing and measurement, the list goes on. For those users who are always tinkering with electronics or working on some project, this multimeter is likely a great fit - tons of options and at a great price. But if you typically find yourself simply testing a circuit, checking voltage or continuity, checking resistance, or other such tasks, this is simply too much. And you need to keep all of the accessories somewhere, since there is no case or bag or anything to keep them in. I plan to keep this in a drawer in my tool cabinet with all of the accessories and the manual, so I can find them when/if I need to use them. But I would never keep this in my tool box that I take with me for various tasks (camping in our travel trailer, going to work on an electrical project, or anything like that.) My other issue with this unit is the size. The large display is terrific, but the overall size of the unit is quite big for most purposes unless it is going to sit on a lab table or something like that most of the time. They did include a strap with magnets to use to attach to surfaces, which is handy in certain applications. The flip out stand on the back is hard to pull out - no notch or catch to use to grab an edge. So after all of this, why am I giving it 4 stars? Well, it is pretty much exactly what they say it is, and does all the things it is advertised it can do. So if you understand this, and understand the complexity of having this full-featured multimeter, then you won't be surprised and should be very happy with it. It delivers on its promises very well and thus deserves a good review. Just make sure it fits your needs, if that makes sense. (Note that the one star deduction was due to what seems to be a less than stellar build quality, where you can see in the picture the yellow casing was loose the day I opened it up. I don't think this will be a real problem though, as a little bit of duct tape would solve this problem without detracting from the use of the product in any way). ***Note that I received this product at no charge in exchange for my unbiased review. I do not alter my rating or review in any way because of this, and I do not hesitate to give a product a poor review if it merits it. Great Meter But....
I like this meter a lot. It's accurate on all scales compared to my Beckman and my Klein meters. The only thing negative on it is that the test leads are not well enough insulated. I was measuring about 250V DC and got a shock right through the lead I was holding by the insulated part at the probe end. Surprise! I changed the leads out with another set I had and all is well. I love the meter especially that it reads frequency up to 60 MHz and has Auto Power Off override. It just has the one drawback.

I don't think I'll need another multimeter for the rest of my life, assuming I won't lose this one.
I don't know my way around a multimeter too well, but there were times when my cheap multimeter with just voltage, resistance/ohm, and a couple of other settings was inadequate and confusing to use. Despite more complex features, this one was so much easier to use. Instead of turning a dial to set the correct range, this multimeter's range is adjustable by toggling through the decimal points with the help of the display. (Okay, I told you I don't know about multimeters...) Speaking of the display, I so appreciate the ability to light the screen. That was very helpful while troubleshooting my car's broken 12v accessory socket (previously known as the cigarette lighter), an easy diagnosis for the multimeter which showed a damaged fuse. Another appreciated feature is the two fuses by the battery for your protection, and I hope to never test that ability. After spending much too much time measuring a bunch of things around my home and the car, I'm very pleased with this. It's not small but has a handy stand and magnets to hang it, thus leaving my hands free to hold the probes. There's no carrying case, but that's fine since I can use the case of an old portable car jump starter. There's an optional clamp probe sold separately, though I can't imagine ever needing that.
