It depends on the size you choose.. Most likely a size of 55 × 86 will seat up to 8 people.

No, not waterproof. If you have small children it might not be the best for them as those white checks are raised and when a little one pushes a glass on the table and it happens to hit one of those white lines it spills......that's how I learned it wasn't waterproof!
