Fairly easy to install
My old phone battery was not holding a charge very long so I decided to try this replacement battery. All the necessary tools are included, so it you will carefully follow the instructions and watch an online video the replacement task is easy and, going slowly and carefully, takes about 25 minutes. Of course, the new battery holds its charge now for multiple days. I cannot yet report on the battery longevity, but after several months of use it is performing very well. Recommended.

Wonderful upgrade to breathe new life into an old phone
resurrected an old iPhone from a drawer that had a cracked screen. Seemed pretty easy from a YouTube video so I gave it a shot and it worked great. While I was replacing the screen, I thought Why not upgrade the battery too? I did, also very easy -- easier than the full screen replacement, to be honest -- and it's more capacity than the original battery. Fabulous.

Weird but it works
It was a life saver as I was completely dead in the water. Changing is no problem as I've done it before without the little tool kit so this time it was easier. But it acts really odd. Stays on about half charged unless I turn my phone completely off. Then when it gets to 100% it starts going down again while on the charger. Could be a phone issue, I suppose. Off the charger it doesn't drain seriously fast so that's a plus. But it takes forever to charge again. For $20 it's worth a shot and at least I have a tool kit now. Would recommend.

Like having a new phone!
I am very happy with this battery. It came with all the needed tools, and a link to a video with step by step instructions. It took less than an hour to change out the battery, and now the phone works like it did when it was new. The battery lasts a long time now on a charge, even longer than I remember the original did. If you like your phone, but it just goes dead too soon, this is a cheap fix. I recommend it.

Just found out Apple charges $29 to replace battery for 6s
The description says updated for 2024, but from label of the package says 2022 (see picture). Another clue that these been sitting around for a while is that part of the surrounding seal was stuck to the film so bad, it couldn’t even be scrape off (See second picture). However few people said that you really don’t need the seal, giving that I’m using my 6s as a spare iPod at home only, it won’t see rain at all. Lastly after installation, when I turned the iPhone on, it showed battery at 60%. Which is down from the optimal 80% of where all the manufacturers like to keep their battery at. So that’s another sign that these batteries are not updated for 2024! And you’re just buying left over batteries from 2022.

More capacity than advertised! Some tools and adhesive strips included.
I don't understand the lower ratings on this product. The battery I received has a capacity around 3,850 mah while the stock battery only had 3,450 mah. The tools included are surprisingly decent. You are an idiot if you are leaving a lower review because they didn't include a heat gun. You'll need the heat gun and a small sharp knife like an exacto knife. I'll have to hook it up to a higher amp charger to see how that goes, but the battery does report the temperature so that should be no issue. Note that the Nexus 6p did not use any of the quick charging technologies (e.g. QC 3.0). It instead can charge up to 3 amps at 5V. Very few modern chargers work this way. I had previously purchased a terrible battery off eBay that only reported 2,150 mah of capacity and would go down 2% from just turning the screen on for a few seconds. This one last all day and then some. You'll find a couple losers below complaining that the battery ribbon cable isn't exactly the same as the OE location. It doesn't matter a bit and it hooks up easily. It even includes new adhesive strips to hold the battery in. This is the Nexus 6p replacement battery to buy!

Does not hold a charge long, you get what you pay for. Get a more expensive battery
Check YouTube for the scam with new labels on used batteries. This shenMZ just has a sticker on the battery and there are misspellings and punctuation errors... They don't try hard because they make these stickers as fast as they can. No quality control. I doubt any of these batteries are truly new... just take your sticker off and you will see the true date of manufacture The temperature of the battery does not change, even though it is getting hot in my hand. The battery app somehow says it is 100% but it won't hold a charge long, even when I don't use it. All wifi, cell and bluetooth is turned off and the battery is still dropping fast.
