Does anyone know how this compares to the elgato in terms of quality?

I bought this item after reading the answers to this question. I do not know how this compares with the Elgato, but I can say that it is very good. The design is excellent, the build is good and the finish perfect.

yes it's a good thickness and you don't see anything. I use it all the time and my videos come out great

How tall is the stand from the floor to the bottom of the screen?

I actually purchased the 70 inch rather than the 90 inch. That was a mistake. 90 inches is definitely the way to go or even a bit larger. I didn’t measure it but my screen is about 2 feet off the ground probably. It goes pretty low.The bigger concern is making sure that it is wide enough so that it is not right up to your back.

How wide does the feet spread out when holding up the screen? I have less than 2 feet behind my chair and no wall to tack up the screen to.

The feet spread only 24 inches wide (parallel to screen), and if you back the screen up to the wall the feet are 22" from the wall, and the screen is 19" from the wall (the feet stick out 3" more than the screen).
