It's a 12volt battery and each cell produces 2v, so there are 6 cells connected together. 6 x 2 = 12

Does it come with the Lawnboy connection already installed?

Can the orientation be changed from what is in the picture? My terminals are not oriented that way.

I don’t believe so. I recall that they are male spade terminals coming off the side of the batteries. Molded in. The female connectors slide on. I would be sure the size will work, then make some extension wires if needed to reach the battery post.
