So this works just fine and does exactly what I needed it to do. Not much to report there. Seems well made with no obvious cold solder joints.I'd advise everyone who wants to use this to listen in on their cars canbus to check the gender of the connector. As the listing describes and shows, this is a female connector. This is the same gender as what is in your car, and will not plug into your dash. I made the mistake of not checking and ended up with the wrong thing. Again, not a knock on the product. I made the mistake, so this is just a reminder to everyone to double check.

WARNING: Test pins with a multimeter. Wire colors on mine did not match up to the pins listed in the description above
