What's the voltage across the potentiometer? could i replace it with a digital pot with max current 25ma (mcp4131-10kohm)?

Yes and no, if youre attempting to control the digital pot with an arduino to control volume, tbe answer is, 25ma is not enough current to drivw the high side. It would be better to add an additional digital pot to the input side. There its gonna depend on the voltage, id you're running it at 12v 25ma might be enough, but I dont think so. You'll need to know the output of whatever youre amplifying.

will this work well for a 1920's style crystal and one tube radio amplifier?

Absolutely! I am using one on my Poldhu 5 band radio that uses a 6al5 tube or diode (Crystal) for a detector. For a tube amp put a load resistor some kid of a transformer across the output and take the audio off across the resistor or the output of the transformer. Also using one on just a simple crystal set. Works great.

How many output watts?

Only about 1W - but remember that this amplifier wants line-level input, which is very low power. Anything higher and this amplifier will distort beyond all recognition. :) If you want to amplify something like an output pin from an Arduino, use a PAM8403-based amplifier, that will do a great job up to about 3W.
