A great sturdy flap.
I put a little dry lube on the hinge to make it work a little smoother for the mail person. Works great. Also made a 1 ft cube privacy hood for the inside.

I love this mail slot
I am replacing a similar mail slot in polished aluminum that was so noisy my dog barked every time it was opened. We changed our house color so this black slot was a better match and is much quieter. I love that it has a handle for the mailman to grab instead of the more flush mounts on the market.
