Cablz Zipz Skinnyz Eyewear Retainer

I went on a white water canoeing trip, I did not want to loose my prescription glasses! The skinny fit perfectly over the slimmer ends of my glasses. It was really hard to find a pair that fit (all the others are made for thicker sunglasses). They successfully kept my glasses on my face worry free!

I bought the small fit for my son's metal frame Maui Jim sunglasses. They are perfect!

A friend at work gave me cablz for a different pair of glasses, and I use them to keep them firm and snug up on my face so they didn't slide down my nose. When buying new glasses I realized that the stem was smaller and the old one would not hold. Problems I have noted as of yet: the rubber portion presses onto the glasses stem about half of the rubber portion. So have to add this to the cable length, and the maximum tightening of the cable length still keeps the cable off my head so I can't use it to Snug them on. There is still enough space to put my fingers in the gap. This means I can't make sure that my glasses don't slide down my nose if they were likely to do that, but they do function perfectly fine as a safety net if they were to fall off my face. Given that the cablz provides a bit of weight towards the back, it actually reduces the chances of it sliding down my nose anyways though. The problem I see with them aside from the fact that 12 in would have been better is that whenever you close the glasses there's an incredible amount of torsion on the Silicon grippers, to the point where I can see if you left it closed for so much as a week you would almost destroy them. My current plan of action is simply to never fold them, unless I absolutely have to and if I have to to extend out the zip to maximum length to give it more room to torsion. If Ray-Ban wanted to solve that torsion problem they could put a flexing hinge of a material that can take that heavy flex, right there where it does so. A hinge could be possible,
