The Macrobiotic Brown Rice Cookbook

I first got this cook book almost a decade ago, and then I lost it when I was traveling recently. I missed it so much, so I bought a second copy. Some great recipes in there. I especially liked some of the salad recipes.

Excellent book with wonderful information and recipes. It was referred to me by my yoga teacher and I plan to use many of the recipes!

This little book has a lot of charisma. It is useful and attractive. I have ordered it for several friends. There is just enough information about macrobiotics to be inspiring, yet by no means too much, so as not to overwhelm a person not bent on studying the subject. Even a friend with wide knowledge of cooking told me she learned a few things from the book, yet the style is down to earth. The recipes are simple and easy to use, written in a style that is exact but not intimidating at all.

Not the best book on macrobiotics, but brings back happy memories of hippy days in London in the late 60's and eating in Craig Sams' 'Seed' restaurant. :-) The recipes still work and are good!
