That is almost what I was looking for. There is a little bit disappointment: When mine is closed, the top and the bottom is not fit correctly; the top deflected to a bit left. But overall, it is a good watch box.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it (i do too). The box itself is made well, i like the simplicity of the design. It has a magnetic closure which helps to keep closed when moving the box around. Each cushion is removable which is also great for bringing along a watch when traveling. My boyfriend uses one of the compartments for smaller items too like cufflinks and a tie clip.

I never post reviews but this one deserves it. This is probably one of the nicest gifts I've bought someone. Everything was in mint condition and the engravable plate come covered in a sticker so it's protected. I took it to things engraved and it fit their machine perfectly. It appears exactly how it looks like on the website.Thank you Watchmaterial! !

I got this for my boyfriend. Was able to take it to Things Remembered to get engraved with no problems. Fits large watches perfectly.

Purchased this for a small but growing watch collection. Initial thoughts were positive, the box itself is well made and the wood was in good condition, however once I opened the lid I was sorely disappointed.The felt used felt extremely cheap, and in fact was so poorly cut that you could see the mdf used to create the frame beneath the felt in several spots.The lid itself was well weighted, but the hinges seemed flimsy. Additionally the lid tended to slam closed due to its own weight, even when closing slowly.Finally the dimensions of each slot were enormous. My collection currently includes two 36mm, one 42mm and a 45mm watch, and they disappeared when placed within. Much better suited to extremely large, 50mm plus watches.All in all decided to return and purchase a less expensive Wolf watch case instead, which is also available on Amazon.

The first time this watch box came the lower corner at back was dented however I really like the size and the style of this watch box therefore I gave it a second chance. I exchanged it for another one and it disappointed me again, the second one was even worse; missing screw at the hinge, scratches on the side, decorative metal plate shows wear and even come off. In the end I returned it and ordered a Case Elegance 6 slots watch box instead.

Well made. Not a real complaint but more of a "nice to have" would be a dampening mechanism so the lid doesn't just slam shut when closing. Or accidentally dropping the lid when closing. Otherwise excellent product.
