Soft reboot
If you loved Dan slots run this might not be for you nick spencer retcons a lot in this but if you like old school spidey this might feel familiar

excellent jumping on point for new readers
Amazing Spider-Man vol 1 (2018). Strictly speaking this is the fifth iteration of the comic. One of my favourite artist's first time on a marvel book. This is an excellent jumping on point for new readers or if you've ever wanted to read Spider-Man. I'd give it a solid rating - I enjoyed it, but for me wasn't quite as good as Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man. I will pick up the next volume of this for sure.

Classic Spider-Man
I thoroughly enjoyed this establishing and experimenting with the Spider-Man/ Peter Parker status quo and continued fallout from Spectacular Spider-Man. The puns fly and I genuinely giggled at a few. This is a solid comic, perfect light reading with decent art and writing. It won't go down in history as one of the most memorable and amazing arcs, but I was thoroughly entertained.

Not a bad re-jig
Enjoyable re-start up of the book. I don't know the full backstories that are referenced, but the book works fine without this knowledge.
