Farberware Classic Stainless Steel 4-Quart Covered Saucepot - - Silver

Love this pot. My parents had farberware, I still have a few pieces. I've used this pan several times purchasing it and do not regret my purchase at all.

Classic style and quality. I use it almost daily.

I like the overall high quality of this Farberware saucepot.(I have been using Farberware pots / pans for over 60 years, my Mom also had them).I have another one thats about 25 or so years old but it is a little lighter (the old ones have aluminum clad exterior bottoms) it seems to heat up a little faster than the new one that doesn't appear to have the same aluminum clad bottom. I also noticed that the edge of the lid seems to be a little sharp, at one point while washing the lid I thought it cut me (it didn't but felt sort of sharp, especially compared to my old 4 qt. saucepot)I bought it because I needed a larger pot to cook spaghetti sauce in & I use the other one to boil the spaghetti in. The new one is made in China, my old one wasn't,

I purchased this pot because not only is it made by Farberware but is a perfect size for soups.Also, it is lightweight and easy to clean.Mainly, however, I bought this pot because of the reputation of the name.

I have other Farberware cook pots that have lasted for years so decided to buy another. Now that my family is smaller, I needed a smaller soup pot. This size is perfect for making winter soups. It was very reasonably priced for the quality and I plan on having this one for many years. Highly recommend.
