Bar Keepers Friend Superior Cookware Cleanser & Polish | 12-Ounces | 1-Unit

I've heard of BKF, but never tried it until recently when I bought new stainless steel pans. I've always used baking soda, or salt, or some other manufacturer product...but never BKF. It took me to be 52 to finally buy it...and wow, what a dummy I was for not getting it sooner! The stuff is a miracle cleaner in a can. It easily removed long-time staining and burnt oil on several of my other stainless steel pots (some probably 22 years old)...but now those stains and remnants of burnt oil are a thing of the past. Stains came off easily with just a soft cloth and some of the BKF...I did just use a light scrubbie (scotch blue ones) with gentle pressure to get off some of the more stubborn stains - but still, easy to do without my elbow grease needed. Definitely easy to use, and will always be a staple in my household now. Light scent, but not overpowering. I would recommend wearing gloves. I didn't and my fingers/hands paid for it for days (just exfoliated them)...more annoying than anything else. So I will be using gloves for now one.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This product literally saved my Dutch oven and I am not exaggerating! Here's my story: I was baking sourdough bread and had previously oiled my Dutch oven with olive oil. Big mistake. The high baking temperature (450°F+) completely burned and carbonized the olive oil, turning the entire interior of my beautiful enameled cast iron pot BLACK. We're talking dark, crusty, stuck-on residue covering every inch of the interior. I panicked and grabbed Brillo pads — another big mistake. The steel wool spread the carbonized oil even further around the enamel, making it look even worse and patchier. I then spent a good chunk of my evening trying everything I could think of: ❌ Brillo pads + salt — did nothing ❌ Vinegar simmer — loosened it slightly but not enough ❌ Dish soap + boiling water — helped a little but the residue was still very much there ❌ Scrub Daddy dishwand — great tool but no match for this level of burn I soaked it overnight hoping that would help. It did loosen things up a bit more, but the pot still looked like a disaster zone. I was genuinely depressed thinking my Dutch oven was ruined forever. Then I ordered Bar Keepers Friend Superior Cookware Cleanser & Polish with next day delivery. It arrived and I went to work. Within ONE cleaning session that pot went from looking like it had been through a house fire to looking BRAND NEW. I mean showroom quality. The cream enamel interior was shining and clean like the day I bought it. I could not believe my eyes. What took me hours of scrubbing, soaking, boiling and vinegar treatments the night before, Bar Keepers Friend handled in minutes. It's gentle enough not to scratch or damage the enamel but powerful enough to cut through the most stubborn carbonized oil residue. If you have enameled cast iron, this needs to be permanently under your sink. I will never be without it again. 10/10, absolutely worth every penny. This product is a miracle in a can!

Love it. Did the heavy lifting for me. That tiny rust spot in my stainless steel sink? Gonezo. The caked on crazy from my caphlon (sp?)? Gone with the help of an electric scrubber (elbows ran out of grease lol), see below (just the rim remains, and I'll get to it). The grout between my shower floor tiles? Spotless. This will change your life.

Bar Keepers friend is a very important utility for keeping the house clean. It's good to clean your stainless steel dishes, yes, but its also good for a lot of other things in your home. I use it for cleaning my bathtubs, showers, and porcelain sinks. I have also cleaned some gnarly toilet bowls with it. Its a scouring agent so in situations where you need to use a scrub brush it's a force multiplier. When you use it, add a little bit of water to whatever youre cleaning, rinse it away afterwards because it WILL leave a residue if you dont. This should be your step #1 when cleaning anything, followed by some all purpose cleaner or anything that will do proper sanitization afterwards.

Better than Pink Stuff! Bar Keeper’s Friend cleaning powder needed to work as a thick paste. It took days after constant rubbing, scrubbing and rinsing to remove hard baked grease! The pan handle & screws totally clean. Bottom not clean enough! Still needing the old elbow grease a lot!!! but it was better than before- LOL

I boiled a nice stainless steel pot dry, black char looking, and decided to try this. I should have done before and after pictures, but I can tell you it was like magic. It literally looks brand new!

I bought a used set of pans, they had some rainbow to a few, white patches in others and I think one that was even brown. I did some research and found it said to use Bar Keepers Friend. I had never heard of it, so I came straight to Amazon to find it. If you have never tried it, definitely buy some, works Great! I couldn’t believe how well it did with removing the stains the first time. Definitely recommend and worth the price, will be buying again. I will post before & after pics of the pots & pans.

Utilisé pour récupérer des poêles inox jauni, et ça fonctionne parfaitement. Juste à humidifier la poêle, mettre la poudre, frotter et ça redevient comme neuf!
