I love firmo clay. Great value, they have a great colour variety, durable after baking and dries quickly. The packs are a great size for the price.

Easy-to-use clay air-dries in no time; you can also bake it.Different colours to choose from. Great for school projects or getting the kids off their iPads.

I used this clay to add details to my fairy houses. I find it quite tough to work with, it took quite a while kneading to get to a consistency I could work with. It can lose a bit of shape in the oven so laying it over a foil support helps. It does stink when it’s in the oven so be aware, and you will need to clean your oven afterwards to get rid of the smell. It does very well with acrylic paint and I’ve found using a filler adhesive works well with any gaps you may have. I haven’t tried colouring it but I believe this is possible with pigment colour. I’ve dropped stars because of the ease of use and the smell, otherwise it’s good stuff.

really good polymer clay i loooove fimo - people say it comes in a weird consistency but that’s just what all polymer clay is like since you need to roll it out and re-combine it kinda since it’s a synthetic clay which bakes into a plastic!!amazing value for money highly recommend it will last ages if you’re making little crafts or great for bigger projects tooooomake sure you keep it in a safe container probably in its own packaging since polymer clay can react with other plastics and melt weirdly!!

Weiß ist die wichtigste Farbe im Fimo-Sortiment - als Basis, zum Mischen, für helle Töne. Der 454 g Großblock ist genau das Richtige für alle die mehr als nur gelegentlich basteln. Konsistenz ist angenehm weich, lässt sich gut verarbeiten und das Backergebnis ist schön matt und stabil. Meine Freundin hat damit unter anderem eigene Minecraft-Figuren für das Brettspiel meines Sohnes gebaut .... detailreich und wirklich gelungen. Wer ernsthaft mit Fimo arbeitet, braucht auch das passende Werkzeug dazu - ein gutes Modellierwerkzeug-Set macht dabei den entscheidenden Unterschied. Klare Empfehlung für beide zusammen.

Die Farbe entspricht im ungebackenen Zustand dem Bild. Nach dem Backen wird sie etwas dunkler. Das Fimo ist weich. Es ist weicher als normales Fimo, aber härter als Fimo-Leather, das sehr weich ist. An einer Stelle ist die Packung bei mir eingedrückt, aber das schränkt die Funktionalität nicht ein.Auf der Vorderseite steht noch, dass es bei 110 Grad gebacken wird und auf der Rückseite findet sich der Hinweis, das Fimo nicht bei über 130 Grad zu backen. Nachdem ich es zusammen mit Fimo Leather gebacken habe, habe ich die Temperatur, wie bei Fimo Leather erforderlich, auf 130 Grad eingestellt. Es ist normal hart geworden und hat keine Schäden abbekommen. Nach dem Backen hat sich die Farbe nur leicht abgedunkelt.Insgesamt bin ich mit dem violetten Block zufrieden, da er weich ist und eine schöne Farbe hat, auch wenn das Ergebnis etwas dunkler geworden ist.UPDATE 04.02.: Nachdem meine Erfahrung mit dem violetten Block sehr positiv war, habe ich auch einen Block in der Farbe taupe bestellt. Leider kann ich diesen nicht empfehlen. Er ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand angekommen. Die Packung ist stark eingedrückt und beschädigt, und das Wichtigste ist, dass der Inhalt sehr hart und bröckelig ist, und einen störenden Eigengeruch hat. Kneten ist ohne Ölzusatz also nicht möglich, und selbst mit Zusatz reißt das Material ständig. Es ist also kein Vergleich zum violetten Block. Leider kann ich nur eine Bewertung für beide abgeben, taupe hätte vom mir nur einen Stern bekommen.

I usually use sculpta so fimo is a bit harder to deal with, it says soft but its still hard, not bad tho

Overall, this is a reliable, beginner-friendly clay that I would definitely purchase again.
