It doesn’t flatten mine and I’ve bought 4 They are the best shape wear I’ve ever had. Holds everything in place and never rolls done.

Q: How do I go about exchanging it for a smaller one????

Size small is ideal for a size 10 but smaller then this I’m not sure I would think it still looks good size 8 maybe not sure but it suits me perfect and I’m size 10
