Containers for small plastic tubes.
Purchased these for the 1.5 and 2.0 plastic tubes. There are 50 locations in each plastic box. Only needed 4. The set of 5 was less than purchasing 4.

Good quality but need better packaging for shipment
The packaging could have been better. One of the boxes was damaged because of the pressure during shipment. Otherwise the quality is very good.

Yes it fits imps and possets
Fits my 1-2 ml flat bottom vials. These are the size you want for putting perfume vials in. It fits the average size perfume vial and a little taller. Does not fit the ones with a spray top.

Perfect for AK vials. Nice to have separate boxes for different tests.

Does not fit 1.85ml (1/2 dram) glass vials--wells are narrow
For ages I've been looking for storage cases for the 1/2 dram (1.85ml) glass vials I use for making perfume test dilutions, with no luck. When I saw these, I got overly excited and decided to take a chance on them, even though the dimensions of the wells in the case were not given. I thought since 1.85 is less than the maximum stated capacity of 2ml vials, there might be enough leeway to fit. Alas, I was wrong. The wells only measure about 11mm on a side, while the vials I use are about 14mm in diameter. The cases look fine for what they are, so I give them 3 stars for that, but I'm really disappointed the seller doesn't provide the dimensions of the wells, since they are quite narrow, and vials and microtubes come in different diameters.

Normally experimental wise, people would use cardboard boxes as it is cheaper. It is not too big and actually is the perfect size for maximizing on space efficiency. With Heathrow Scientific, you don't have to worry about the cost. For the price: around 7 dollars a box? That is reasonable. Color coding helps with not mixing up samples, which is why these storage boxes are perfect. If you are a research professor, or have your own laboratory and want this, get it. Even pay for it from your own pocket. It really isn't unreasonable in price. Even buying bulk, it works out in the long run. The winning point of these boxes is that: they are AUTOCLAVABLE! WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!
