Just what my husband needed to add to the motorcycle. Works great - told several friends to order their own.

We live in a lake community that allows golf carts to be driven throughout. We didn’t have anything to be able to recharge any devices when we were out for the day unless we took a portable charger. This product was perfect and allows easy access to charge our phones quick! Super easy to install, shows the voltage of the battery, and gives a quick charge to whatever we plug into the USB.

Works as described, easy enough to install. Pop out the old lighter housing, figure out which of the 2 wires is hot, attach it to the pos terminal. The crimping on the factory wires wasn't great, but i already had a crimping tool in my hand. My only complaint is that I wish it would shut itself off when the car is off or it's inactive. I doubt this tiny LED is a serious draw on the battery, but it just makes no sense for it to be on all the time.

I did a mod to my car. It's not a new car so I was able to get away with what I did. I put a solar panel on the hood and I hooked it up to this USB adapter on the inside of my inner console. A battery is also integrated into this circuit mess. I can overly charge my cell phone with a battery now integrated into my car, and it charges solely on solar electricity. It was a great project to prove my worth, and I like having the installment made. The USB adapter works just fine with my masterpiece.

Worth mentioning first and foremost is that these are slightly larger than some sockets, I had to use a knife to shave off some plastic but it was easy. These were really well made, the volt meter was accurate, and when used my phone reported that it was fast charging. So what else could be improved? Perhaps maybe some wire nuts included along with the spade connectors it comes with, other than that these are absolutely fantastic.

Bought this a year ago. Finally had the down time to take the center console of my Challenger apart. Replaced the 12V aux plug with this for more current times functionality. Ease of install is dependent upon your skill level to know how to take your car apart. Once I got the aux plug removed I hand to Dremmel about 0.15 inches of the plastic on my center console to allow this to fit. Was easy to hook up. Crimped wire fittings and then F4 tape wrapped it all up. Turned on the car and works like a charm. The inline fuse is a great bonus.

I have replaced a number of cigarette lights in my cars with these 12v USB Charger units. They work great for charging phones (Android and iPhone) and the included volt meter lets you keep an eye on battery condition and verify the car's alternator is working. For some reason they have made them a slightly larger diameter than the cigarette lighters (at least those fitted to my Land Rovers) so the holes have to be made slightly larger but this does mean you can ensure a good fit. I highly recommend these for a simple way to a volt meter and add USB charging ports to older cars.

I have several of these in my boat (12v) and in my off-grid solar setup (24v). Well made and reliable, 2x USB ports + a digital voltmeter. It's a lot of value for something incredibly simple and easy to install.

Really not sure what to say here... I installed the outlet on my Versys X-300 in the available dashboard socket and everything went very smoothly. The installation kit comes with everything you need, as long as whatever you're installing to is ready for it. In my case, I'm pretty good with electrical and I had to do a little wire splicing here and there, as well as install a relay (requirement for my specific motorbike), but it's nothing a novice couldn't do either with a little YouTube guidance. The biggest PRO that I could come up with for this review is the fact that this outlet comes complete with a volt-meter display built right into it. This is awesome for monitoring the condition of your vehicle battery, especially in a situation like mine as motorbikes almost never come with a battery gauge. I tried to come up with a CON for this device, and the only thing I could come up with is perhaps the waterproofness isn't quite as good as you might imagine. The rubber cap pushes into the USB ports pretty firmly, but there's really nothing stopping water from wicking along the rubber and following it right into the USB ports. At best I'd say this design is "water resistant"... It will likely hold up to a drizzle or light rain while you're actually riding, but I wouldn't expect it to stay dry if you left the bike uncovered while parked in a rain. I wouldn't recommend it, but for my install I drilled a very tiny hole (very carefully) in the bottom back of the device so any water that gets into it can easily drain out. Another little CON has to come with the marketing, and my computer nerd side is gonna show here. This is strictly a USB charger. Plain and simple. It takes power and provides it to a USB port so you can plug in USB devices to get power. When people say USB 3.0 what they're really saying is it provides roughly 900ma to 1.5A of power. It's not a 5 amp quick charger, but it will keep your devices topped off. All in all, I really like this charger socket. It provides enough power to keep my devices powered up and charged without putting a strain on my bike's battery.

Installed real easy and functions great. Only draw back, the voltage display reads 0.3 volts too high. Not a critical thing, but my solar system shuts down under 12.1 volts, so I'm getting false information from the display.

Best out of all of them. I've had two different ones fail on my almost immediately and this one has worked perfect for many years

Bought it to install on my 2002 Yamaha Zuma 50cc scooter. The quality is really good, charges very fast. (I was on a scooter ride for about an hour or so with a few stops getting food and figuring out where to go. It charged my phone from 14% to 61%.) Love the voltage reader as that's way easier to tell if my battery is working or not. The installation wasn't too much struggle. The charger came with two wires and quick connectors. Had to cut the red wire end off to solder into the ignition wire, but other than that everything is awesome! Would recommend to anyone that's thinking of getting it.
