hog ring pliers
well there is not much to say about these hog ring pliers they do work very good. I use 3/8" hog rings to seal the ends on sausage casings and these pliers clamp the rings on very tight. I'm happy with them but I found out you can get the pliers with hog rings right from LEM for $10.99 the reason I bought them on amazon is because I need the right away. these pliers are well made and should last a very long time.

It does what it is suppose to do for a solid crude chunk of metal, nothing fancy but gets the job done.

Easy to use
I bought these to apply clips to my summer sausage casing , the pliers work fine.

New pliers are stiff but rugged
I have pretty wimpy hands when trying to use tools like pliers so the stiffness of these out of the box is not very desirable but I'm sure with use and maybe a little WD40 they should loosen up. Made in USA, which is a plus, the tips of the pliers come together evenly which has not been the case with some foreign-made hog ring pliers I've seen. Overall, a good product and fairly priced if you have Prime shipping.

Heavy duty well made
I've purchased LEM products in the past. These pliers work great, do what they're supposed to.

Poor casting but suited my purpose.
This pliers works ok for the little use it is going to get. It suited my applications. But if your are going to use hog rings on a regular basis, I would spend the extra money on a better cast set. They work, but the casting is not the best. Definately looks like they were cast in China.
