I have as many as 23 cats and kittens in the house at a time, because of my work with shelters doing foster care and rehab for special needs kitties. Most of the corrugated cardboard scratchers get torn up and make a total mess in the room within just a few days. These Sisal Scratchers are GREAT! The cats love them and can't tear them up, so they last longer and save me money for more TOYS AND TREATS!!! Happy Human...Happy Cats! The little dangle toy is fun, but they all fall off after a few days. Oh well, they make good toys to chase and play with. The scratchers are still the best!

So I bought this in early 2022, so when you look at the pics keep that in mind because they just demonstrate how good this product is. I have 4 cats! They still use it and it's still holding up! I'm going to buy another one because of how long it lasts, it is worth the money, it is evidently very well made. This is not a paid review. I am in disbelief of just how long this has lasted! Mind-blowing, wasn't sure when i purchased this how long it would last and thought well it's cheap enough, if it lasts 6 months worth it because it's served its purpose....guys it's been almost 4 years and it's stillholding up!! I'm just saying I am shocked! And the only reason I'm writing this review is because I wanted to order another one forgetting when I bought this one so i went to my Amazon orders to find this again to purchase another because of how well its held up and after finding it in my orders i looked at the date and seen that it was in early 2022 i bought it, so yeah I'm definitely buying this exact one again.

I have a cat that came here from the area and was pregnant. She dropped 5 kittens that are now 7 weeks old. I have 5 others as well, all orphans that showed up here. I started to bring the kittens in the house after being in the laundry room until 2 weeks ago. They really enjoy the scratching device but really like to play on it. They seem to enjoy climbing on it although it's not that tall but they run under the tunnel section and climb all over the surface.Well made and a good deal for the money.

These are my cats favorite. She flipping loves them and they keep her off furniture with those claws. I’ve bought several of these over the years.My only complaint is that they don’t tend to last long before showing significant damage, and sometimes they will arrive with a big bubble where the carpet isn’t attached to the structure underneath. My cat isn’t a heavy scratcher; it’s probably not used more than once a day, if that. So it seems weird that they get torn up so quickly.She loves them though so I keep getting them. I probably buy them once a year. They don’t really last for the whole year, but she just has to deal with the busted up one until the next Christmas haha.

I bought this as a scratcher for my cats, as I have four of them and the cardboard scratchers just do not last in my home. This one is well made and after two months of scratching, the sisal is still holding up fine. The first thing my cats went for upon its unboxing was the little feather hanging off one side. By week's end, they'd successfully pulled the feather head off but it was a non-issue as it can be snapped back onto the elastic string.The whole thing is quite sturdy and a decent weight, though my two largest (both around 11-13 lbs.) sometimes manage to slide it a few inches across the carpet when they get rambunctious.It also makes a nice kitty lounger and all of mine have used it as such at one point or another. My youngest loves it so much, though, that he has pretty much laid claim to it for that purpose, lazing on it constantly. That alone makes it a good investment.

This is actually the third one I've purchased. My cats love to scratch on them, play on them, relax on them, and sleep on them. The side area designed with rope for scratching is very durable and one of my cats lies on the hump and uses the rope area area with great gusto. My other cat, unfortunately, sits up straighter and scratches on the top of the hump where it's carpeted instead of reaching over to the side of the hump where it has rope for scratching. The carpet on the hump still lasts surprisingly well, but it does sustain damage over time. Eventually the carpet wears away and she ends up scratching on the pressed wood of the hump itself. At that point, I feel it needs replacing because it is scattering sawdust and bits of fabric and thread all over. Even with this problem, I recommend the unit highly. It seems to be a cat favorite.

Cats have beat on this for many, many years now & it has held up... Definitely recommend it! They like to lay in the curl too😻

I had first bought this 3 years ago. My cat, Suma, loves it!! I am amazed that it's lasted so long as he uses it every day to some degree. As you can see from the pictures I've posted though.. the new one is not the same quality as the old one!!The old one is on the left, new one is on the right.It came shipped in this box, with some of the brown paper over top of it. The box proved to be a big hit for Suma. I did notice one hitch though upon examining it when i removed it from the box, in the one photo you'll see the underside of the new one has some strange lose bump of fabric. That bothers me slightly since this is supposed to be new, but i can overlook it.The new one is loaded with visible STAPLES!!! You can see them all along the sides and back! I do NOT like this one bit!! The old one had no visible staples.. This concerns me. I'm worried he might snag his claw on a staple, or one might come lose and he'll get it stuck in his little paw, or possibly ingest it.The Sisal is darker on the new one, and i've noticed it's not as tightly woven as the old one is. So i have concerns as to how long it'll last and hold up.The carpet on the new one is lighter, and also not as thick. You can see it shine a little bit in the one picture as the flash captures some of the bare material where the carpet material is thin and doesn't completely cover. I tried to get a decent picture to show this.Now that being said.. Suma really likes it. I placed both the old and new next to each other and he kept going to the new one. He is very happy to have a new one! He would much rather use the new one than the old one now. I am unhappy with it though, the older one in my opinion looked nicer and was better quality... but Suma gets what Suma wants, and he wants the new one! So even though i am unhappy with it, i still recommend it for your cats since they will get a lot of enjoyment out of it. Fingers crossed it lasts as long as the old one did... and i KNOW i'll be checking those staples twice a day to make sure everything is safe for him.

My cat likes it. It lasts a reasonably long time (about one year for a one-cat house). This is the third one I've bought. Cat enjoys it, and it's not an eyesore for me. Very subtle design, but fun for cat. God quality carpet on it that can take a beating (or scratching).

El producto es bonito, resistente, aunque la pluma que trae colgando se rompió un poco a los minutos de que mi gatita jugara con ella. Eso sí, no se ha despegado a pesar de que la jala mucho y con fuerza. El material se ve resistente y elegante sobre todo. Es un poco pequeño para un gato adulto ya que mi gata tiene menos de 5 meses y ya casi no cabe por la parte de abajo. No lo usa casi como rascador, pero le gusta acostarse en la curvita a descansar.

My cat has been scratching our carpet less now that he has this. The only way it could be improved is that there could be a larger size - my adult male cat only just fits on and under it!

This arrived warped and misshapen. My cat likes it but it doesn't look like it will last very long. I was intending to keep this in my living room for my cat to play with but it looks pretty wonky and cheap so I'm just going to hide it in my home office where visitors can't see it.
