LID Valve Box 10" UNIVSL MfrPartNo UNI10, Green

Had a 9" access hole in my front yard for a garden box (irrigation system I think). Previous homeowners covered the hole with a huge ugly rock to prevent lawnmowers from running over it. Decided to find a replacement cover. Of course nobody makes a 9-inch cover for this purpose, so I snagged this 10" universal which is literally the only product I've found on the market like this. Thankfully it's a perfect fit! And to my surprise, the finger hole is covered at the bottom so no worries about pesky snakes trying to turn it into a den again! Was worried after reading some reviews about my lawn care guys flying over the cover at 50mph as they cut my entire lawn in three minutes flat. But I'm proud to report after a dozen rounds of cuttings with these speed-demons, my cover is still nicely secured.

This was a replacement for a round control box which had been chopped up by the mower by a previous occupant of my home. It was the perfect replacement and fits quite securely to the top of my 9 inch round control box flush with the top of the box. I have mowed several times and there has been no problems with the mower going over the lid. It is about 1/2 as thick as the original control box lid but still sturdy.

this is a good fit but i'd prefer 3 prongs instead of 4 to make it easier to press down, but i like it. it also doesn't have holes so no acorns or debris get down in the tank. i'd recommend it.

Basically works as advertised. Fits multiple size holes, which means the ring is for the largest hole size. Only gave two stars because it is thinner plastic than tOEM covers. I had a spot in the middle of my backyard where I intended to use it, but did not feel comfortable having the kids constantly walking on it. Wound up swapping with a cover in a more remote section of the yard. I would not order again for this reason.

I was able to install this cover immediately and it fits my 9.5inch diameter hole. The plastic prongs enables the cover to secure the hole without fear of coming off via wind or someone stumbling on it. Great value and great price!

It fit like a glove. I no longer have to worry about my son falling to the treacherous bottom of my water shut off valve box. I inadvertently created a hazardous lawn situation by annihilating the stock cover with a lawn mower that was set apparently too low. When the new cover arrived I whipped it out and shoved it in.... And the fit was perfect! No more yard hole!!!

Needed to replace a broken "Bell" phone cover in my front yard. Tried to get Verizon to replace but got the run a round for weeks, so I purchase this cover. It was a perfect fit and looks better than the original. Hope it lasts for years.
