We put aluminum foil underneath the finished puzzle and on top, folded the sides over the edges to envelope the puzzle, then very carefully flipped the whole package over. There’s probably an easier way to do it but that worked for us. The adhesive pieces were large enough to cover a decent amount of area each and we were able to trim a piece to cover what the larger pieces missed. The tool it came with was very helpful to fully stick the adhesive to each puzzle piece. When I was done using the tool, I was able to easily handle the puzzle to put it in a frame. Very easy to use and effective product.

One pkg easily covered my 18x24 puzzle. The sheets are not that difficult to use if you go slowly and use the small tool that is included to smooth the tape. You can press hard and the tape is totally clear and even the seams don't show! I was skeptical that I would be able to pick up and hold the puzzle, but it was plenty sturdy after completion.

These puzzle backers are not as adhesive or sturdy as others I have used. They are not like a posterboard/paper with adhesive. They are more like a laminate, clear tape like material. I find these harder to put on as they are flimsy like tape. So you have to adhere from one side and then gradually adhere through to the end of the sheet. I don't feel like the adhesive is super sticky either - i suppose this depends on your preference on if you want it more or less sticky. The other backers I use are more like posterboard/hard paper with adhesive and i like them more. After I put those backers on I can pick the puzzle up completely and feel confident it will not come apart.

These sheets were amazing! Easy to use just peel the backing and lay them down. Used 4 for our 1,000 piece puzzle and still had a couple sheets left for our next one. Adhesive was great we could pick up the whole puzzle immediately, no drying time!

I had a 1000 piece puzzle and didn't want to put these pieces of film on the front. Had to come up with a method to flip it. The first time was a disaster and 1/4 the puzzle fell apart. After redoing it I used clamps and another board (two total)and was able to flip it over without any problems. I encountered some wrinkles when putting the sections down but it didn't matter since they were on the back. I was able to frame it afterward with no problems.

When I realized that's all this product was, I found my old roll of clear contact paper and used that instead. I returned this "Puzzle Saver", which is way overpriced. The contact paper worked great to hold the puzzle together and put in a puzzle frame. Plus the standard contact paper roll didn't have folds in it and could be cut into bigger sizes as needed. Super easy. This product may have a stronger adhesive (although it didn't look like it), but if you plan to use a solid backed frame for your puzzle and just need a light adhesive paper to keep the puzzle together, don't waste your money on this.
